Becoming a first-time Ironman is never easy.
For Jess , the journey became even tougher when she was told just weeks before the race that she may have a stress response in her fibula. Simply making it to the start line felt uncertain.
Race day had other plans too. A bike crash, a puncture, and a painful marathon that turned into a test of pure determination.
But through every setback, she refused to quit.
Some races are remembered for the finish time. Others are remembered for the resilience it took just to reach the finish line.
Congratulations, Jess. What a way to earn your first full-distance finish. 💙
