How can we approach a Vinyasa practice that feels both fluid and structurally supportive?

This experiential workshop brings together anatomical precision with the creativity and graceful sequencing of vinyasa flow.

Yoga teachers and movement professionals will explore ways to improve movement quality while developing more confidence and artistry in their teaching.

You’ll learn how to:
• Cue with anatomical precision and creative inspiration
• Integrate functional mobility and intelligent strength
• Design graceful, dance-like transitions
• Build coordination, confidence, and creativity

This experience is also open to curious yoga practitioners who want to feel more comfortable creating sequences to practice at home and develop a better understanding of alignment within flow classes.

Led by longtime yoga, dance, movement, and fitness educators and mother-daughter duo: Patricia Jimenez Hamilton and Carla Jimenez Rosas, this workshop offers practical tools you can bring directly into your own practice and classes.

Have you met Tammy?

Her bright smile and warm welcoming energy are hard to forget!

Tammy began her yoga journey in 2021 during a very stressful season of life.

From her very first class, she felt something shift… she felt a sense of calm, peace, and connection.

The welcoming smiles, breath, movement, and the space to simply pause made a lasting impression.

During that time, Tammy was carrying so much stress that she was grinding her teeth badly enough to break two teeth. Her dentist told her she needed to find a way to get her stress under control and yoga became that path.

Through a combination of breathwork and movement, Tammy found a calm she didn’t even realize she was missing.

She also found community, support, and a deep connection to the beautiful grounds at Lotus Pond.

What began as something she needed has grown into something she truly loves.

Tammy began her teacher training in 2024, earned her 200-hour yoga teacher certification, and is now continuing her studies in the 300-hour program.

Tammy teaches Gentle Yoga on Tuesdays at 6:00-7:15pm. Her class is a wonderful space to slow down, breathe, and reconnect with yourself.

Come say hi to Tammy! She would love to welcome you into her class. 💛

Meet Sarah 🌿

Sarah’s yoga journey began over 30 years ago after a coworker invited her to a Bikram Yoga class and from that very first experience, she was hooked. Yoga offered exactly what she needed for her body, mind, and spirit, and over the years she continued exploring different styles of practice while experiencing the unique benefits each had to offer.

After moving to Tampa with her husband 11 years ago and stepping away from a career as a psychiatric nurse, Sarah found herself navigating back challenges that led her to seek support through Yoga Therapy. Already passionate about alternative wellness modalities as a Reiki Master, she was encouraged by her Yoga therapist to pursue teacher training herself, a path that would eventually lead her to sharing yoga with others in a meaningful way.

Sarah completed her 300hr Yoga Teacher Training right here at Lotus Pond. She is an E-RYT 500, YACEP through Yoga Alliance, certified in Chair Yoga, Yin Yoga, and Pilates Mat 1 & 2.

In Sarah’s classes, students can expect thoughtful alignment guidance, movement connected with breath, and options to support all levels of experience. She encourages students to stay present, letting go of worries about the future and rumination about the past, while creating a practice that feels accessible, supportive, and joyful.

Her teaching philosophy is simple:

“You are one yoga class away from a good mood.” 💛

Sarah believes yoga is for everyone: every age, every stage of life. When she isn’t teaching, she loves spending time with her husband of 47 years, their 4 children, 9 grandchildren, and ballroom dancing with the love of her life.

Join Sarah:
✨ Tuesdays 10:30am Gentle Yoga
✨ Fridays 9:00am Align & Flow Yoga

We’re grateful to have Sarah sharing her wisdom, kindness, and joyful spirit with our Lotus Pond community. 💚
