Atomik Carbon

I killed it today. Anyone who has built Berd wheels would understand. I laced both wheels in 1:33 and had then dished and first tension to 125kgf in less than an hour. 2:24 total.

4 hours to prep 2 pairs of hubs for Berd Spokes and reach 125kgf for 1st tension. Very happy about our spoke tensioning machine which allows us to downsize the spokes by 2mm so that we have a lot of room for future adjustments. 1993 gram fat wheels.

I love it when customers have fun with their builds. Our attention to details is second to none.

After sharpening my pencil and making several corrections, our price for the Atomik Carbon/I9 System build comes in at $1850 vs. $2395 for the I9 System build with the We Are One rims.

Just need a few weeks to restock our rims.

Probably not the best way to start riding after a long sabatical. It sure was fun.

1. Mod Hook Design - Stroner Impact protection due to larger area to displace energy.

2. Lowest wall height at 18mm - Vertically more compliant. More comfortable and stronger due to vertical compliance.

3. Asymmetrical Designal - Reduces the variance between tensions on the drive vs. non drive side. Stronger and more stable wheels stay truer longer.
