SARAH STOLZ
#3 | 2030 | 1B / Utility

Sarah has a combination of size and athleticism that gives her a chance to impact the game in several ways. She gives the infield a big, reliable target, moves better than people expect, and continues to develop into a disciplined hitter with real power. Good first-base play also makes everyone else on the dirt better, and Sarah understands that responsibility.

This will be Sarah's 6th season with the Mustangs. Along the way she has earned USA Softball HPP recognition, varsity Defensive Player of the Year, All-State, and All-Academic honors. Those accomplishments are worth recognizing, but what matters most to us is that she still comes to work. She takes coaching, keeps improving, and has never acted like an award means the job is finished.

BRYSTAL HACKETT
#6 | 2030 | RHP / 3B / OF

Brystal is one of our new additions, but you would not know it by the way she has fit into the group. She has physical tools that are easy to notice, but the more important part is how many different ways she can help a team. She can give you innings in the circle, defend the dirt, move into the outfield, and provide a strong presence in the lineup.

We first got to know Brystal as a guest player, and that experience told us a lot. She stepped into an unfamiliar dugout, listened, competed, and handled whatever role we gave her. Since officially joining us, she has carried herself like she has been part of the group all along. That matters. Good teams do not need every player to be the same, but they do need players who understand how to fit, work, and compete together.

JAYLEE RUIZ
#4 | 2030 | MIF / C

Jaylee is one of those players coaches learn to trust. She handles a lot of responsibility in the middle of the field, communicates well, knows the situation, and makes very few unnecessary mistakes. When we need another catcher, she is willing and capable of taking on that job too.

This will be Jaylee's 10th season with the Mustangs. She has grown up understanding that good softball is not always flashy. Control the strike zone. Make the routine play. Know where the ball goes. Be ready when your name is called. She has built a lot of trust by doing those things consistently for a long time

EDIE CATE JOWERS
#8 | 2030 | MIF / OF

Edie is the type of player you appreciate more when you understand how much responsibility comes with playing in the middle of the field. She sees the game well, understands where the ball needs to go, and rarely allows the speed of the game to change her pace. She is also willing to move into the outfield when the team needs it.

Edie is entering her 3rd season with the Mustangs. In that time, she has become one of those players you trust because she consistently does the small things right. She competes with two outs, moves runners, takes tough at-bats, and does not need every plate appearance to be about her own numbers. Steady, intelligent, and dependable usually travels well as the competition gets better

Please help us welcome Brystal Hackett to the Tampa Mustangs Clendenin family!

Brystal will wear #6 as she joins our 2030 team. A right handed pitcher with outstanding size, power, and softball IQ, she has all the tools to make an impact in the circle. When she’s not pitching, she’s a true utility player who can contribute anywhere on the field while providing a consistent bat in the lineup.

Just as important, Brystal is a humble, coachable teammate who fits the culture we’re building. Coming from a proud Tampa Mustangs family, we’re excited to welcome Brystal and the Hackett family to our program.
