This is How It’s Done!

We had ourselves a Golden time at last week’s Performing Arts Camp: K-Pop Demon Hunters! Our sweeter than Soda Pop campers used their talents to dance, sing, tell stories, and create throughout the week as we celebrated all ways they shine.

We have ONE more Performing Arts Camp left this summer:

🍎 Disney Descendants. August 3rd-7th. This is a full-week, full-day camp for students in completed PreK-4 through 6th grade. Spots are still available!

Wackadoo! 🐾

We had so much fun this week celebrating one of our favorite furry friends! From practicing pawfect pirouettes to crafting cute canine crowns, our Petite Ballerinas had the best time - for real life!

Last week was a real summer spectacular!

Our Petite Ballerinas and Intermediate Intensive participants danced their way through a week of fun and growth.

Our Petite Ballerinas celebrated their favorite princesses in summer style, learning royal dance technique, crafting regal artworks, and making mermaid monarch memories.

Our Intermediate Intensive, led by the incredible , was an exploration of audacity in the dance space. Dancers studied the history of jazz dance and culture through the decades. They learned the names and stories of dance pioneers and made connections to their own dance story, building the confidence to try new things, grow in technique, take up space, and level up each step of the way.

We hope everyone is enjoying this holiday week! As a reminder, the studio is back in session Monday, July 6th for technique classes, as well as:

🕺🏻 Gotta Dance Camp, a welcome-to-dance camp for students in completed grades K-4.

A wickedly good time was had by all at our first Performing Arts Camp of the summer last week!

Campers spent one short week in the Emerald City, dancing through life, singing, crafting, defying gravity, and storytelling, bringing the tale of Wicked: For Good to life!

There are still two more full-day, week-long Performing Arts Camp opportunities this summer:

In addition to weekly technique classes for ages 2-adult, we are delighted to offer our popular Petite Ballerinas Camps again this year during Summer at the Studio!

Designed for dancers ages 4-7, these half-day camps explore dance technique, themed crafts, and memory making fun all week long!

June 1-5: Ballet Beach Bash ☀️
June 8-12: Barbie Ballet 🩰
June 22-26: Disney Princesses 👑
July 6-10: Bluey Ballet* 🐾
July 20-24: Flowers, Fairies, and Flutterbys 🦋

*All camps with the exception of Bluey Ballet will run from 9am-12pm with an optional drop off time at 8:30am. Bluey Ballet will run from 12:30pm-3:30pm with an optional drop off time at 12:00pm.

In addition to weekly technique classes, we will again be offering several dance intensives this summer!

These week-long, half-day programs offer intensive study of dance technique with both in-house and guest teachers.

June 8-12: Elementary (completed grades 2nd-5th)
June 22-26: Intermediate (middle and high school)
July 20-24: Advanced Week 1 (high school and college)
July 27-31: Advanced Week 2 (high school and college)

The Elementary and Intermediate intensives will run from 8:30am-12:45pm; the advanced intensives will run from 11:30am-3:30pm (time subject to change).

Have a young performer in your life? Looking for a week-long, full-day experience for your child this summer? Our fan-favorite Performing Arts Camps may be just what you need!

Designed for students in completed Pre-K4 though 6th grade, our Performing Arts Camps explore dance, music, drama, and art in a well-rounded, full-day, week-long experience. Students spend the day immersed in a new theme each week, learning the art of storytelling through multiple mediums.

All camps run from 8:00am-5:30pm.

If your child is wanting to give a dance studio environment a try, but not sure if they’re ready for a full-day dance camp experience, consider our Gotta Dance camp!

Running July 6-10 from 8:30am-12:30pm, this half-day experience for students in completed K-4th grades is a great way to tip toe into the studio setting and find their groove on the dance floor.
