Post 1 of 2 for girls 16/17u

We are honored to have each of you who puts on an Alien HoopStarz team jersey. We recently did the Stars Unlimited outdoor 3 vs 3 basketball tournament in Monroe, Washington. We had 2 age groups for this tournament. We had a boy's 9U and a girl's 16/17U. We want to take a minute and talk about our girls team. They all played up in the bracket that they played in. The youngest age we had on our team was 13 years old. They battled hard and went against girls older then them. We are really proud of them.

This was 3 of the girls 1st time playing in a 3 vs 3 tournament and they did really good. We had many challenges in the games with bad weather and with some bad ref calls. Our players put up a good fight and at the end of the tournament we ended up taking 4th place. Thank you to our players, families of the players, and all the fans with out you we wouldn't be able to do this.

Thank you to Stars Unlimited for putting on this tournament and all the gifts you give each player. Thank you to each of the teams we went against for giving us great games and for being a great competitor. Coach Shawn M Reynolds, Jr. Thank you for all you do for the players and team.

Yesterday our teams of 9u boys and 16/17u girls battled against some great teams. Today both teams are sitting just 1 win away from heading to the championship game. Come out and support our 2 different age groups of players. We are proud of each of these young athletes. We want to give a big shout out to our 2026 Yakima Hot Shots 3-on-3 Tournament 8th grade girls team. They battled hard in all of the games they played. They battled great teams during the tournament and even the smoke and wind. They had to run iron 3 the 2nd day of the tournament due to a family emergency for one of players and she had to leave. They took 4th place for this tournament.

This tournament doesn't give time outs so these girls battled hard in the heat in each game. We are proud of each of them and thank you coach Shawn M Reynolds, Jr. For all you do to keep kids playing. The sun was in the players eyes for this picture. We have been going to the Yakima Hot Shots 3-on-3 Tournament for years and love this tournament. This year we had 2 teams in this tournament. This is our 3rd grade boys team 👽🏀. They battled hard on day one against some extream wind and smoke 💨 from the near by wildfires 🔥. The basketball hoops were swinging back and forth and made it hard to shoot and do lay ups. They did it and we stayed undefeated. The next day we played multiple games. This time do to a family emergency we lost one player and the boys had to run iron 3 the whole 2nd day. The whole tournament we battled amazing teams full of great talent. We stayed undefeated and went 5-0 in the tournament to become CHAMPIONS 🏆🥇. We are really proud of these young men. This is our 2nd championship together in the last few months. These young men train every day and have amazing parents who support them and our team. Congratulations to these young men and coach Shawn M Reynolds, Jr. On this amazing accomplishment. We appreciate y'all.

Today we have an 8th grade girls team and a 3rd grade boys team playing in the Yakima Hot Shots 3-on-3 Tournament. This tournament is in Yakima Washington. Both teams will be coached by Coach Shawn M Reynolds, Jr. Come out and support the kids this weekend at the Sozo Sports Complex. Our mascot will be there as well.

⚠️‼️ ATTENTION BIG NEWS ‼️⚠️

One of our athletes is Kailee Reynolds. She is the daughter to Alien HoopStarz founder Coach Shawn M Reynolds, Jr. She received multiple offers to play college basketball from Washington State all the way to Nebraska. Tomorrow night she will be announcing her college pick and signing the contract.

She is the 1st player to play for Alien HoopStarz to sign a college contract. We are so proud of Kailee and all her accomplishments on and off the court. From winning multiple leadership awards, serving as Suquamish Tribe Renewal powwow princess 2025-2026, graduating highschool this month, and so much more.

Be on the look out because We have a lot of 15 and 16 year old players that will be playing college ball in the coming years.

Last weekend Alien HoopStarz had our 15u Co-Ed team playing in the Muckleshoot Indian Tribe Memorial Day Basketball Tournament. We took 7th place out of 10 teams. These athletes battled against really hard teams. Each of these athletes showcased the talent they have. They all played amazing and did a great job. We appreciate each of you for playing with us in this tournament. We can't wait for the next one. Thank you to all the parents, guardians, and fans for all your support.

We had our mascot present for the tournament and it's always amazing to see the love we get from all the kids and fans. We want to thank all 3 of the kids who put on our mascot to help keep it on the sidelines at the games. Our normal person Kailee Reynolds who does our mascot was unavailable this tournament as she was on her senior trip. One of the kids who did it during the 8u games was Coach Shawn's daughter Cheyenne Reynolds who was also playing on the 15u team. Thank you to Cheyenne, Olivia, and Dylan for helping us be the the mascot. We greatly appreciate you.

We want to thank Andrea Moses-Paul for helping us coach our 1st 15u game. Coach Shawn M Reynolds, Jr. Had the 8u championship game at the same time as the 1st game for the 15u. He had to run back and forth between the 2 games at the same time on courts next to each other. He asked for Andrea to help coach who is a former player and the mother of one of our amazing athletes. Her and her husband Mario are always a big help for our team at each tournament. They always help make sure we have snacks and other things we need for the athletes.

We want to thank the Muckleshoot Tribe, the Muckleshoot Veteran's, and everyone else for all your hard work to put this tournament on and for honoring the veterans. The swag bags and free food all weekend was amazing and is greatly appreciated.
