Curtis High School Athletics is excited to welcome Kayla Skipworth as our new Head Volleyball Coach! (pending board approval)

A proud Curtis alumna, Coach Skipworth returns home with a proven track record of building successful programs, developing student-athletes, and creating positive team cultures. We are excited for her to lead Curtis Volleyball and continue the tradition of Viking Excellence.

Join us tomorrow, Friday, July 31, at 6:00 PM in the Curtis Gym for an Open Play & Meet-and-Greet! Current and prospective players and families are invited to come meet Coach Skipworth, connect with teammates, and kick off an exciting new chapter for Curtis Volleyball.

Our Vikings are coming off a State Runner-Up finish and won the Washington State Championship the year before. With a talented returning roster and a tradition of excellence, the next coach will inherit a program built to compete at the highest level.

After an incredible run leading Curtis Volleyball, Coach Buell has accepted the position of Manager of Events and Club Memberships for Texas A&M Athletics. We are deeply grateful for her leadership, dedication, and the championship culture she built at Curtis. We wish her all the best as she begins this exciting new chapter.

Welcome Coach Nate Angelo! ⚾️

Coach Angelo is no stranger to Viking Baseball. A 1998 Curtis High School graduate and former Viking baseball player, he has spent years investing in the next generation of student-athletes.

Coach Angelo’s leadership, commitment to excellence, and love for Curtis Baseball will continue to build a culture where student-athletes grow on the field, in the classroom, and within our community.
