All joking aside.. what an amazing night! We bought Josh’s parents basically the worst seats in the arena, BUT GOD! An usher walked up to them in section 204 and handed them tickets to section 4 🤯 They texted and said they were basically on the stage! My father in law told us seeing Andrea Bocelli wasn’t even on his bucket list because he didn’t think it would ever be a possibility 😭 If you knew all they’ve been through in the last couple of years, then you’d know there’s no one more deserving of such a gift. Plus they just hit 35 years married!

WHAT DO YOU MEAN WE FINALLY HAVE TIME TO DO THE THINGS WE LOVE WITH THE PEOPLE WE LOVE😭

All of a sudden we are getting to say yes to things like impromptu camping on the river and it feels SO GOOD❤️ It almost makes me sad to realize how much we missed out on when we were running the business, but it was all part of God’s perfect plan.

This is one of the sweetest gifts we’ve ever received🥹 This chapter of our lives will be remembered and cherished forever ❤️

For those wondering, we are genuinely enjoying this time with our kids! Saturdays feel like 2-3 days in one and it’s strange, but wonderful to have so much time to enjoy life (or get yard work done). Josh was just gifted golf clubs so I guess he’ll be golfing now. As for me, I’ll be homeschooling the kids starting this week and hopefully finding my own hobby so I can get away and de-stress. We miss axe throwing, but more than that we miss all of you! Stay tuned for a full video update soon! - V

In the end we had one major goal and that was to finish strong. We could have never anticipated that we would end on such an amazing event. You can really tell that the team at Bob Larson Plumbing is a family. From the activities to the food and sweet treats.. it was so cool to see the staff so appreciated. Just wow! God has been so good to us throughout our entire journey and this was just the sweetest way to end our axe throwing career

Last Thursday we had the honor of being a part of Step by Step’s annual Boots & Bloom’s fundraiser again. The work they do to equip mother’s is impacting generations and we are simply grateful to witness a small portion of the impact.

Our first week without the business was a good one! Honestly we had so much going on there wasn’t time to be sad 😅
