Hi Everybody,

I'm cancelling the Thursday night's west coast swing lessons and dance on August 27th and September 3rd, in lieu of some extended vacation time. It's also a busy time for most people leading up to and around Labor Day,

Lessons and dances will resume on September 10th. I'll have a full schedule of lessons and rotating dj's out soon. I'm thrilled that the Thursday night community dances have been well attended this summer, and I hope we continue the momentum into the fall season with your help. I've offered lessons spots before the dance to many local and regional dance teachers, and I hope to expand the list in the near future.

Jane Lu taught a very impressive wcs class on connection last Thursday. I hope to have her back in the spring.

This Thursday's class will be taught by me. The lesson starts at 7pm and you must be comfortable in the basics. The dance starts at 8pm and I'll be the dj.

The Art of Connection: Building Better Partnership
Ever watch dancers bust out cool shapes and crazy moves on the dance floor and wonder, “How the heck do they do that, and how do I get there?!” Connection is the answer! Together, we’ll build on core connection principles to work toward stronger partnership and dances that feel more connected. These connection building blocks are at the core of co-creating collaborative dances (with any partner!). If that all sounds fun, lace up your dance shoes and throw on your thinking caps - let’s connect!

I made a new West Coast Swing Community Dance Event for just August 2026. It includes rotating DJ's and teachers. The lessons will start at 7pm and the dance at 8pm.
