As General Manager of the Syracuse Jr. Chiefs, I pledge to lead this organization with honesty, accountability, commitment, and respect. Families are trusting us with more than their time and financial investment; they are trusting us with an important part of their childโs development, confidence, and baseball journey. That responsibility will never be taken lightly.
Acknowledge that achievements at this level are never solely due to the efforts of one person. They thrive on the support from fellow coaches, staff, and organizational leaders. We cherish and recognize the collaborative efforts that are vital for nurturing our players and teams toward success and growth.
The Syracuse Jr. Chiefs operate through a unified leadership structure that includes ownership, the General Manager, organizational leadership, the Coordinator of Player Development, and our coaching staffs. Team placement, roster decisions, coaching assignments, player development, and the overall direction of the program are handled collectively through the organization.
Our players do not come here to play for only one coach, one team, or one season. They become part of a complete organization committed to their growth and success. The Syracuse Jr. Chiefs are an organizationโnot a single team or individual. Our success is built on collaboration, structure, accountability, and a shared commitment to our players.
We will provide quality instruction, experienced leadership, competitive opportunities, and a structured development program designed to help players grow both on and off the field. We will not promise that every season will be easy, every decision will be popular, or every outcome will be perfect. We will promise to work, communicate, listen, evaluate, and hold ourselves accountable.
The Syracuse Jr. Chiefs will always stand for more than wins, trophies, or a name across the front of a uniform. We will teach our players how to compete, handle adversity, respect the game, support their teammates, and represent their families and organization with pride.
For more than five decades, players and families have proudly called themselves Jr. Chiefs. My pledge is to protect that tradition while continuing to improve, grow, and prepare this organization for the next generation. We will honor those who built this legacy, support those who represent it today, and develop the players who will carry it forward tomorrow.
