Land of Legends Autograph Night
Thank you so much to everyone who stopped by to meet T-rev, grab an autograph and get some goodies. It was definitely a highlight of the night.
We went out for hotlaps on new Dig shocks and T-Rev was bad fast.
We were excited to go out for our heat but on lap 2 our left rear got driven into and smashed up. Thankfully Trev had an amazing save and didn't flip, but it completly broke the bottom pan hard bar mount.
We were able to borrow a welder from HBR (thank you!) but just weren't able to confidently get it ready to go out for the feature.
We can't thank the Murtaugh crew enough for everything tonight. Richard Murtaugh came right over and was helping figure out what happened and how to try and fix it. And when we figured out we couldn't go out Brianna Murtaugh let Trev take her car out for the feature for a lap to secure points and green money.
As always thank you to the crew (Trev, Tracy (Dad), Jamie (Mom), Aunt Becca, Uncle Tom and Mike) for busting their butt tonight.
Congratulations to our teammate Michael Lupold on a heat win and 11th feature finish tonight!.
And of course thanks to all our friends, fans, family and sponsors

Unfortunately, due to heavy rainfall overnight and this morning, combined with an unfavorable forecast for this afternoon and evening, Land of Legends Raceway has made the difficult decision to cancel tonight’s racing program for Saturday, July 4.
With several race teams traveling from hours away, we felt it was only fair to make this decision rather than have teams spend valuable time, fuel, and money only to arrive and be faced with a possible rainout.
We’re especially disappointed for the Scoppo family, who have dedicated so much time and effort into making this event possible. We are already working on a new date for the Scoppo Special and will announce the rescheduled event as soon as those plans are finalized.
We sincerely appreciate everyone’s understanding and continued support. We hope you all have a safe, happy, and enjoyable Fourth of July weekend as we celebrate the 250th birthday of the United States.
We’ll see everyone back at Land of Legends Raceway next week!
We are rained out 😞 I think that was the hardest we have ever seen it rain!!!
We blew a tire on the way there and have to Thank Corey at RAZ Recycling, he just got us 2 new tires and we had it ready to go.

Friday night at Brewerton was a series race, and we started the night on a positive note by finishing 5th in our heat race. That locked us directly into the feature with no consi needed, and we rolled off 20th for the main event.
Unfortunately, on lap 25 of 30, we heard a big pop and the car came to an abrupt stop, ending our night with a DNF and a push back to the pits.
We stayed overnight and headed to a parking lot this morning to start diagnosing the problem. At first, we thought it might be the transmission. Thankfully, we decided to check the rear end first. When Trevor pulled the gear cover off, a pile of metal pieces fell out. That's not what you're hoping to see. The top input shaft had snapped completely off.
We were already in town for our regular season race and wanted to keep our points, but didn't know how we could do it. Without hesitation, Rich Powell and Luke Powell offered us their spare car so we could at least make the race, get our show-up points, and run a few laps. That kind of generosity is what makes racing special, and we can't thank them enough.
After some discussion, the team decided to see if we could get our own car repaired and back on track, knowing we had a backup plan if things didn't work out.
Uncle Thomas answered "yes" to every request and picked up the Powell's car, a rear end and everything else we needed from home. While he was making the haul, Tracy, Trevor, Rebecca and Jamie got to the track and got to work tearing the broken rear end out of the car. By the time Tom arrived, we were ready to go. Michael and Jake got his car turned around from last night and jumped right in to help get it put back together.
A huge thank you also goes out to Brandon from HBR for helping with bearings, Richard from RMR for gear oil and advice (and congratulations on the win!), and everyone else who jumped in to lend a hand. Thanks to a lot of teamwork, determination, and hard work, we got the new rear end installed and the car ready in time for hot laps.
The hard work paid off. Trevor put together one of his best feature runs of the season, driving from 23rd to 16th. He was a huge part of getting the car repaired and then went out and drove his butt off once the green flag dropped.
We truly cannot thank everyone enough. "Thank you" doesn't even seem like a strong enough phrase for the amount of help, support, and encouragement we received.
To say this team is exhausted would be an understatement. But that's racing. The highs, the lows, the challenges, and the people who help you through them make it all worth it.
And congratulations to Peter Britten Racing on his modified win.
