Strength isn’t always about lifting the most weight, throwing the hardest punch, or being the fittest person in the room.

Sometimes strength is simply showing up.

Showing up when you’re tired.

Showing up after a hard day.

Showing up when life feels heavy.

Showing up when that little voice in your head is telling you not to.

And one of the biggest reasons people keep showing up at Burn Camillus?

🔥 Community.

There’s something powerful about being surrounded by people who encourage you, challenge you, celebrate your wins, and remind you that you don’t have to do this alone.

This week’s email is all about the kind of strength that happens when we lift each other up.

Who is someone in your life who makes YOU stronger?

💪 **WHAT DOES STRONG LOOK LIKE? Meet Stephanie Reilly.** 💪

Strength isn’t just about how much weight you can lift. Sometimes it’s about showing up, pushing through hard seasons, stepping outside your comfort zone, and finding a community that brings out the best in you.

And when we think of **STRONG**, we think of Stephanie. 🧡

Stephanie is a mother who raised two kids into adulthood, a **United States Army veteran**, and someone who has been involved in fitness for more than 20 years.

Her first love was CrossFit, and when a friend invited her to try Burn, she originally planned on sticking around just for the winter.

That plan changed pretty quickly. 😂🥊

Stephanie told us:

“I was at a low point, and I thought, ‘Why not? I would like hitting and kicking things,’ so I went for it.”

Sometimes that’s all it takes — one decision to try something different.

Since then, Stephanie has completed **100+ classes**, earned **Member of the Month**, doubled up on workouts, shown up on the days she’s tired, and become one of those people who makes our community better just by being here.

And what keeps her coming back?

“I love the attitude and the community; I’ve never been to a gym like this. People here notice your absence, even if it’s only a few days. When you come back, it’s like walking into a party with all of your friends.”

🔥 She’s seeing muscles come back that she forgot she had.

🔥 She’s stronger physically.

🔥 She’s more determined.

🔥 And she’s surrounded by people who genuinely want to see her succeed.

Stephanie represents strength physically, mentally, and emotionally — and we couldn’t be more proud to have her as part of the Burn Camillus family.

**Keep showing us what STRONG looks like, Stephanie!** 🧡🥊

💪 WHAT DOES “GETTING STRONGER” REALLY MEAN?

When most people think about getting stronger, they think about lifting heavier weights, doing more reps, or finally accomplishing something that once felt impossible.

And yes — those wins matter. 🔥

But some of the strongest people we see at Burn aren’t always the ones lifting the heaviest weights.

Strength is also:

🥊 Showing up on the days you don’t feel like it.
🥊 Coming in after a long day because you know taking care of yourself helps you show up better for everyone else.
🥊 Starting again after a setback instead of giving up.
🥊 Walking through the doors nervous on Day 1…and continuing until confidence replaces doubt.

And then there’s the strength that shows up outside the gym:

❤️ Picking up your grandkids without hesitation.
❤️ Keeping up with your kids.
❤️ Carrying the groceries without struggling.
❤️ Feeling more capable, confident, and independent in everyday life.

That’s the kind of strength we love watching people build.

The weight on the bar is measurable — but real strength is something you carry into every part of your life.

If you’re early in your journey, remember this:

Every workout completed.
Every small improvement.
Every time you choose consistency over comfort.

You ARE getting stronger — even if you can’t see it yet. 💪🔥

👉 When you think about becoming stronger, what’s the FIRST thing that comes to mind? Drop it in the comments or message us — we’d love to help you get started!

💪 This week, we’re talking about strength!

Have you caught yourself recently thinking:

“I used to be able to do that easily.”
“I want to feel capable and independent for years to come.”
“I want to build strength now before it becomes a bigger issue down the road.”
“Getting up off the floor shouldn’t feel this difficult.”
“I want to feel more confident in what my body can do.”

Which one of these thoughts resonates with you the most? Reply and let us know! If you’d like a copy of this week’s email, simply reply “ME!” and we’ll send it your way. 💪🔥
