đ GymRat Challenge Recap đ
Another weekend in the books, and we couldnât be prouder of our girls.
GymRat challenged us in every way possible. We faced talented competition, experienced highs and lows, and most importantly, continued to grow. Our athletes showed tremendous progressânot just physically, but mentally as well. Their communication improved, their confidence grew, and they continued to compete with resilience and heart.
One of our favorite moments happened away from the court. We took a trip to Build-A-Bear, where the girls worked together to make two bears as a team. It was a chance to laugh, bond, and create memories that will last far longer than any basketball game.
At ASA, we believe development goes beyond the scoreboard. Weâre building confident athletes, strong teammates, and young leaders who know how to support one another on and off the court.
To our players: Thank you for trusting the process.
To our parents: Thank you for your support all weekend.
And to everyone who cheered us on: We appreciate you!
Weâll celebrate the growth, learn from the lessons, and get right back to work.
Trust the Work. See them next year đ

Yesterday was bigger than basketball. đđ
ASA had the honor of hosting two programsâone from Ithaca and one from Syracuseâfor a joint training session and scrimmage. Over 30 athletes came together to compete, learn, and grow.
The best part wasnât the final scoreâit was watching players from different teams encourage one another, make new friendships, and push each other to be better.
A huge thank you to both coaching staffs for trusting Love Nicholson to pour into your athletes. I know my coaching style isnât for everyone. Iâm energetic, demanding, and I hold players accountable because I believe in their potential. Thank you for allowing me to coach authentically.
One of the biggest lessons from yesterday:
Your coach isnât hard on you because they donât care. Theyâre stern because they care enough to refuse to let you settle for less than youâre capable of becoming.
Iron sharpens iron. Thatâs exactly what happened yesterday.
Thank you again for trusting ASA with your athletes. We canât wait to do it again.

What a weekend for ASA. đ
5/6 girls played up in 12U and needed a minute to adjustâbut once they did, they competed and showed who they are.
9th grade played up in 9/10 and made a championship run. S/o to Coach Jon taking his team 3-1. Proud of how they stayed together through every high and low.
Growth. Toughness. Teamwork. Competing with purpose.
Shoutout to our ASA Chain MVPs âď¸
