Uticuse Hellbenders are a rugby club located in Syracuse area competing at the MWRFU Women’s+ D2 level. Anyone is welcome to join, no experience necessary!
Rugby is a great social sport, that can provide physical fitness, as well as social activities. The team works well on and off the field. We participate in community events throughout the year, as well as run our annual Ruck Cancer tournament to benefit the American Cancer Society. New players? Send us an email or message for details!

our 2026 fall season is off to a solid start! shout out all of our ✨MVPs✨- but especially Caitlin Schirmer and Claire Short who both had to leave the game early due to head injuries. they both made big impact plays and we're looking forward to when they're back on the pitch! 🩷👏💚
