🐲 Dragon Run 🐉

Saturday, September 19
Meet at Waffle House at 8:00 am
(798 Brevard Rd, Asheville)
Wheels rolling at 8:30 am
Road Captain: Robert Schweikert

Joins us on this all day ride to the Tail of the Dragon: possibly the most famous road in our area and always a fun ride!

From Waffle House, we'll head South on Brevard Rd to the Blue Ridge Parkway, stopping at Waterrock K**b to enjoy the views and stretch our legs. We’ll continue on the Parkway to its end in Cherokee, where we'll take US-19 W to Bryson City, continuing to US-74 to NC-28 (aka Hellbender 28 or Moonshiner 28). The Hellbender will take us to Deals Gap Motorcycle Resort where we will stop for lunch. We'll head into TN on US-129 (aka Tail of the Dragon) and then make our way to Tellico Plains to ride the Cherohala Skyway National Scenic Byway to Robbinsville. From Robbinsville, we'll make our way back to US-74, ending the ride at a rest area outside of Waynesville.

🏈 Ride to T.C. Roberson High School 🧸

Join us for a short ride to T.C. Roberson High School to collect the toys that the students have gathered. Before the football game, will ride around the track and then help collect toys. Afterwards, you are free to leave before the game starts or you can stick around and watch some football 🏈

The students have helped us tremendously in the past, so let’s get a good showing of bikes to let them know how much we appreciate them! 💕

⚠️Please bring a kick stand plate to protect the track!

🔎 Scavenger Hunt Ride 🔍

Saturday, September 12
Meet at Harley-Davidson of Asheville after the Monthly Chapter Meeting
Road Captain: Matthew Mims

After the Monthly Chapter Meeting, Matthew will lead us on a ride to one of this year’s Smoky Mountain HOG Scavenger Hunt locations, Andrews Geyser in Old Fort, for a scavenger hunt photo. We will head down Rte 9 to Bat Cave Rd, weave our way to Old Fort, snap a picture, and then head back to the dealership.

Ride will be ~2.5 hours
(We will back before any afternoon showers appear)
