🌱 Celebrating Superintendent Day! 🌱
Today, we’re giving a huge shoutout to the team behind the scenes who keeps The River Club looking its best and our course ready for play day after day.
Our Director of Agronomy, Kyle Kester, leads an incredible squad and consistently goes above and beyond—not just for our course, but for our members, our events, and his team. Whether he’s unclogging pipes to keep water flowing, making sure the trailer is ready for Halloween hayrides, preparing the golf course for tournaments and championships, hauling away members’ Christmas trees, or simply showing up wherever he’s needed, Kyle never hesitates to jump in and get it done.
And that same dedication extends to our Assistant Superintendents, Neil Cunningham and Daniel Jones, who work tirelessly alongside Kyle and the entire grounds team to keep our course healthy, beautiful, and playing its best.
What makes this team truly special is the pride they take in their work and the care they show one another. Kyle makes sure his team is celebrated, appreciated, and connected with our membership—and that leadership makes all the difference.
And of course, we can’t forget the most important member of the Agronomy team… Wakely! 🐾 Our favorite course dog is always close by, keeping an eye on the grounds team and making sure everyone stays on task. 😉
