Procrastination is anxiety wearing a productivity problem's clothes.
Most people think they procrastinate because they're lazy. Or undisciplined. Or distracted.
But when I work with clients on procrastination, we almost always find something underneath: fear of failure, fear of judgment, fear of success, or a deep-running belief that they're not capable.
The procrastination is the brain's way of avoiding the emotional threat attached to doing the thing.
Remove the threat. The procrastination dissolves.
