Coach Travis and company 3rd-6th was back at it this past week with some great football drills!

All-American kids did a great job completing all 0-9 routes!

All-American Sports’ registration is still open, and we are so excited about all of the students who have signed up so far! We will accept the first 20 applicants for grades kindergarten through 2nd grade and the first 20 applicants for 3rd through 6th grade. We have had a great turn out so far, and we are looking forward to filling the last few remaining openings. All-American Sports is an after-school sports training program right here at Legacy Traditional School Surprise. Students in kindergarten through 6th grade will be able to build friendships while practicing sport skills. We will be providing flag football, basketball, and speed and agility training this first semester. Registration will close Friday, August 20th. More information can be found on our website. Coach Gregory

"For as long as I can remember, I have had a passion for sports, through playing football, basketball, baseball, and racing growing up. As I grew in my love of sports, I wanted to impact others through physical education and coaching. I have been coaching youth for fourteen years and teaching PE for seven years now. During my career, I have coached high school boys basketball and junior high boys basketball, flag football, and girls basketball.

Through these experiences and personal obstacles, I have learned how to challenge and motivate athletes while also supporting them and providing skills they need to succeed. I’m thrilled to continue this journey with our athletes in All American Sports!"

Coach Travis

"I have a love of sports that has stayed with me since I can remember! I have played sports my whole life, and I was lucky enough to receive a scholarship to play college football. After finishing my collegiate career, I immediately started coaching sports at an after-school program in Phoenix.

I have coached youth sports since 2003, so I have a firm understanding of the needs and abilities of children when it comes to sports. I have also been a PE teacher for the last five years, so I have a depth of knowledge at developing student’s skills in various sports at different age-ranges. I believe all children have the ability to have success in sports with proper coaching and training."
