Big thank you to the amazing and TALENTED artists CHOICE, unlimited for this fantastic mural that was installed today at 1401 Tower Avenue in the hallway leading down to the Serpentarium.

This piece focused on collaboration and each artist created a piece of the snake to form the whole. We are in LOVE with how this turned out! Stop in to view the mural during our open hours (Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays)

Spend a minute with Matilda 🐢

Aquatic turtles are a HUGE commitment as a pet. Notice the mess 🫠 Not only do you need to make sure their water is clean and filtered, you need to constantly check water quality, temperature, and turtle health. And you will be doing that for decades!!! Sliders can live well over 40 years if properly cared for! 🤯

THE SERPENTARIUM WILL BE CLOSED UNTIL FRIDAY SEPTEMBER 4th. We apologize for the inconvenience but we will be back with all your supply needs in September. Thank you to all of you for supporting my small business. I need some time to recoup and I will be back full force for the fall!

A reminder to all fossil fanatics and animal lovers: Family Discovery Day: Fossils X3 is happening THIS THURSDAY from 4:00-7:00pm at MDC! 🦖

You’ll be able to hang out with MDC’s paleo experts and see specimens from our prehistoric collections. 🦴🐚 PLUS, we are super psyched to welcome Sarah's Serpentarium and her slithery, scaly pals as modern-day reptile representatives! 🐍🦎

If that’s not awesome enough, , Brews, & BBQ: Rich & Germaine is happening at the same time! It’s always a treat to hear Mattson and Germaine Gemberling perform live, so be sure to catch them between your fossil fun and reptilian rendezvous. 🎤🎸
