Kai Orr ’27 OF (GA) - athletic 6.7 runner, LHH CF type that swings it at a high level, coming off a summer where he finished hitting over .360 with a .500+ OBP and only 1 K all summer, elite bat to ball skills with flashes off pop that plays in game, really good defensive OF that covers a ton of ground, gets great jumps on the ball and also showed off an upper 80s arm from out there, uses his speed on the bases as well, swiping a ton of bag!

Lochlan McHale 1B/OF/LHP (CO) - big physical frame (6’4/205) with tons of pop, smooth lefty bat that plays at a high level in game, hit .418 this past spring (1st Team All-League) and over .370 this summer and was a 2Bs machine, minimizes movement at the plate and uses the hands and his present strength to square balls up, high OBP guy (over .500 through spring and summer) with a great 2 strike approach, can see him being a true middle of the line up power bat at the next level, slots in as a 1B or corner OF at the next level, very solid defender at 1B!

Nico Perez ’27 RHP/MIF (FL) - super athletic twitchy player, up to 90 on the mound this summer with some of the smoothest, low effort mechanics we’ve seen, arm is loose and live, sits 86-88 with some arm side run, mixes in a big breaking CB that he can throw for strikes and plays well off the high FB, CH has great downward action to it and looks like the FB out of the hand, potential to be a legit 2-way guys, swings it really well, hit .345 this summer with 5 2Bs, barrel stays in the zone a long time, great hands at the plate, elite defensive SS that can stick up the middle, 91 across the INF with great range!

Grant Alderson ’27 RHP (AR) - super high academic guy with a projectable frame (6’2/200) and present strength, has been up to 91, sitting 86-89 11 months post UCL repair and continuing to climb, smooth repeatable mechanics, really good mover on the mound, showed some plus off speed stuff including a big breaking CB at 73-75, a sharp tight SL that gets a ton of swing and miss at 80-81 and a CH with tons of downward arm-side action that plays really well off the FB, polished arm that keeps guys off balance, can see him being 92-94 starter type arm at the next level, super high academic (4.25 GPA / 34 ACT)!

Nick Laster ’27 1B (MS) - big frame with tons of raw power that plays at the plate, put together one of the best spring seasons we have seen at the plate, hitting .673 with 7 HRs, 38 RBIs, 2.055 OPS and .810 OBP, more than just a power bat, has high level bat to ball skills and can shorten up with 2 strikes and put the bat on the ball, bat will translate really well at the next level, true 1B defensively that picks it really well, good footwork around the bag, can also slide to 3B!

Joseph Toma ’27 MIF (FL) - athletic, smooth defensive MIF, showed great defensive actions in his workout with us, able to cover a ton of ground and made strong accurate throws across the diamond, keeps it simple at the plate, uses the hands really well, does a great job catching barrel consistently in game, showed the ability to hit to all fields and is a guy that’s willing to do all the little things to contribute to winning!

Ryan Dejnak ’27 MIF (FL) - super athletic MIF that can swing it, electric at the plate, finished this summer hitting .380 with a ton of XBHs, has sneaky pop that plays in games, high level defensive SS with a high 80s-low 90s arm across the diamond, showed smooth defensive actions, quick hands and really good range, will make an immediate impact with the glove at the next level and can see the HR numbers jumping as he continues to add size!
