Twenty seasons ago, we were told it couldn’t be done—that Sumter wouldn’t support another dance studio. But God had a different plan.

Today, DreamWorks is thriving. We’ve had the privilege of training generations of dancers, gymnasts, and performers while pointing hearts toward Christ. Our students have gone on to college dance programs, professional opportunities, studio ownership, and leadership—all while carrying a message of faith, excellence, and hope.

This year, our theme is Dream On, inspired by the life of Joseph. God placed a dream in his heart, and He has faithfully fulfilled ours beyond anything we imagined.

Twenty years ago, God placed a dream on our hearts. We opened our doors with a simple prayer—that every child who walked through them would discover their God-given gifts, grow in confidence, and be surrounded by love, kindness, and encouragement.

Looking back, we stand in awe of God’s faithfulness.

Over the past 20 years, we’ve had the privilege of teaching thousands of children, celebrating victories, praying through challenges, watching lifelong friendships begin, and seeing students grow into confident young adults who shine their light wherever they go.

At DreamWorks Dance Academy, we believe dance and gymnastics are about so much more than technique. Yes, we strive for excellence in training and exciting performances, but our greatest goal is to help children build strong character, lasting confidence, meaningful friendships, and a foundation of faith that will serve them long after they leave our studio.

We are passionate about bringing modesty, kindness, and Christ-like values into the dance world while providing exceptional instruction that challenges every student to reach their full potential.

To make your experience even easier, our on-site Dance Boutique offers dancewear, shoes, and accessories, making us your full-service dance home right here in Sumter.
