🥳 Congratulations to Brayden B. and Corrie R., the recipients of our inaugural Charleston Running Club scholarships.

🏃 Brayden is a 2026 graduate of Academic Magnet High School. This Fall, he plans to attend Washington University of St. Louis, majoring in Sociology. He is also committed to the Men's Track and Cross Country teams.

🏃‍♀️ Corrie is a 2026 graduate of Veritas Classical School (homeschool) and ran for North Charleston High School. She plans to attend North Greenville University, majoring in Health Sciences. She is committed to the Women's Track and Cross Country teams.

👟 When you run CRC races, a portion of your entry fees supports these local runners in achieving their higher education goals- thank you for supporting our local young people!

Saturday night is your chance for a cheap meal (only $5) supporting our first responders with Sullivan's Island Fire and Rescue.

The Fish Fry begins at 5 PM at the Sullivan's Island Fish Fry Shack on Hennessy St and features live music and a $5 fried fish dinner.

Sullivan's Island Fire and Rescue are wonderful supporters of our Floppin' Flounder 5K and Charlie Post Classic 15K/5K each year. Let's show up for them tonight!

Thank you to our Sullivan's Island Police Department for keeping us safe last weekend for Memorial Day weekend AND this weekend for Floppin' Flounder 5K. We appreciate y'all!

Another busy holiday weekend on Sullivan’s Island is over, and we want to recognize the outstanding work of our Police Department and Beach Services Team.

Throughout the weekend, these dedicated professionals worked long hours managing traffic, assisting visitors, enforcing town ordinances, responding to calls for service, maintaining our beach access areas, and helping ensure that residents and guests could safely enjoy all that makes Sullivan’s Island special.

Their professionalism, teamwork, and commitment to public service often happen behind the scenes, but their efforts make a tremendous difference in keeping our community safe and enjoyable for everyone.

Thank you to every member of our Police Department and Beach Services Team for your hard work, dedication, and service to Sullivan’s Island. We are proud of you and grateful for all that you do.

Thank you to everyone who picked up their packets early! Over 700 folks checked in today at Fleet Feet Mount Pleasant, and our volunteers love seeing your smiling faces.

We do not have Friday packet pick up. You must pick up your packet Saturday morning if you did not pick it up already (or just registered).

Race Day packet pick up starts at 6:15 AM at the Fish Fry Shack (start/finish area). Packet pick up closes at 7:45 AM, and the run/walk starts promptly at 8 AM.

Packet pick up is almost here! Join us on THURSDAY at Fleet Feet Mount Pleasant or Saturday morning at the start/finish to pick up your race number and shirt. 🐠

We do not have Friday packet pick up, and we are expecting a sell out crowd, so we highly recommend picking up your packet on Thursday. A friend or family member can pick it up for you if you need them to. 🐠
