Our newest group of Yoga Teacher Training students have been hard at work learning new skills. They’re ready to practice teaching at our FREE Community Classes! These classes are geared to all levels of yogis and will be a flow style of yoga. EVERYONE IS WELCOME so bring your own mat (or rent one for $5), some water, and a friend! Spots are limited, so we recommend reservations.

So much of life asks us to listen outward: to our families, responsibilities, and everyone else’s needs, opinions and expectations. Over time, it can become harder to hear our own voice.
Our next workshop with guest instructor Lezlie Ladd, Empowerment Circle: Reclaiming Your Inner Voice, is a guided small-group experience for women 50+ who are ready to slow down, listen inward, and reconnect with themselves in this season of life.
Lezlie will lead this 90-minute circle will include thoughtful conversation, reflective prompts, quiet self-inquiry, and shared discussion designed to help you tune back in to your own wisdom.
This is not about having all the answers, it is about creating space to hear yourself again. You’ll leave with simple tools to help you continue listening to your inner voice, making decisions with more clarity, and building trust in what you already know deep down.

This weekend, members of the Awakened Yoga community came together to walk in support of National Alliance on Mental Illness and in loving memory of Jamie’s son, Jeremy, who passed away four years ago.
What made this day so meaningful wasn’t just the walk itself, but the reminder that no one should have to carry grief, pain, or mental health struggles alone. We are so grateful to everyone who walked beside us, donated, checked in, shared kind words, or simply showed up to support Jamie and her family.
May is Mental Health Awareness Month, and it’s an important reminder that mental health care matters. Asking for help matters. Community matters. Connection matters.
At Awakened Yoga, we believe yoga can be one supportive piece of mental wellness, creating space to breathe, move, slow down, reconnect, and feel supported in both body and mind. While yoga isn’t a replacement for professional mental health care, it can be a tool alongside therapy, support systems, and other forms of care.
Thank you to Pam (our organizer) and everyone who supported our team and helped honor Jeremy’s memory. And thank you to our Awakened Yoga community for continuing to show up for one another with compassion, care, and love. 💙 🦋
