🏁 P10 AT ZANDVOORT — ON TO RACE 2 🏁

Aurélien Panis took the start at the wheel of the No. 6 Mercedes-AMG GT3 and wasted no time, moving from P7 up into the top three before handing over to Anthony Bartone. 👊

The GetSpeed crew delivered a strong pit stop to get Bartone out quickly, but a lazy spin in the tricky Turn 3 dropped the No. 6 from P4 to P10, where it would finish.

Not the result we wanted — but this team knows how to reset.

Tomorrow: qualifying in the morning, then Bartone takes the opening stint for Race 2.

Regroup. Refocus. Qualify. Race. Win. 🏆

Aurélien Panis took the start at the wheel of the No. 6 Mercedes-AMG GT3 and wasted no time, moving from P7 up into the top three before handing over to Anthony Bartone. 👊

Aurélien Panis had the wheel of the No. 6 Mercedes-AMG GT3 for the 10-minute qualifying session in the Netherlands, posting a time good for P7 on the Silver Class grid. 🇫🇷💪

He’ll take the start of the one-hour race before handing off to teammate Anthony Bartone.

Rain is in the area, adding another layer of difficulty to an already low-grip circuit that seems to favor the mid- and rear-engine cars. 🌧️

The Killer B’s are moving on! Sean Bellemeur drove around Shane Westerfield in Round 2 of Top Alcohol Funny Car eliminations, running 5.43 at 267 MPH to advance to the semifinals at the DODGE NHRA Great Lakes Nationals powered by MOPAR at U.S. 131 Motorsports Park!

Even better — Tony Bartone’s team will get a bye run to the final! 🎟️

The TAFC semi is scheduled for 2:30 PM ET tomorrow, but rain is expected most of the day. Fingers crossed we get to run! 🤞

Round 2 is scheduled to go off under the lights tonight at the DODGE NHRA Great Lakes Nationals powered by MOPAR at U.S. 131 Motorsports Park in Martin, Michigan. The Killer B’s will have a rematch of the U.S. National final with fellow Californian Shane Westerfield in Round 2 with Westerfield getting lane choice.

Track and air temps are promising fast times into the evening. 😎
