The Heart of a Volleyball Coach 🏐❤️

Eyes are everywhere all at once. watching her players. Sensing their movements. Feeding their energy. When the gym roars, she stays calm. Remember what we practiced, she reminds them with the slightest nod of her head.

She tracks rotations and lineups, timeouts and points—but she also notices what others miss. The shaky server who needs to hear her steady voice. The player off the bench whose hustle earns a smile. The teammate who leaps up first to yell “Ace!” A coach teaches skills; a good coach instills confidence.

Her athletes push harder than they thought possible—not because she demands it, but because she inspires it. She leads by example, giving and expecting respect. It’s not just a team, it’s a culture. Her players never hesitate to dive for the impossible ball or stretch for the big block. Sometimes, they fail. They crash to the floor. They tangle in the net. But she’s taught them mistakes don’t define them—how they approach the next ball does.

And long after the nets come down and the last whistle fades, her influence remains. Her athletes—her girls—carry her voice in their hearts. The one that says, “I believe in you,” and “I’m proud of you”—always, no matter what. Because in the end, it was never just about the game.🤍
