Alright friends, this is an example of how not to walk out a bunker. My stepping on the edge you risk break that edge away and ruining that edge. Once that happens it’s very difficult to repair. You really should exit low side of the bunker and NEVER step on the edge itself. Have fun out there!

We have a topdresser to use! We will be finishing up Sanding Unicorn today and aerating greens at the Oaks. Thanks for your continued patience.

The bunker project was completed today. Big shout out to Sean Hanley for another excellent job. Even a couple of my guys got to get a little dirty. Please do NOT PLAY from the bunker or newly laid sod. It will be open as soon as possible. If you need to get your ball please do not walk up/down bunker banks. Only enter from the front where there is no bank. The ground and edges are not firm enough and would be severely damaged.

So the picture is the good news….. looks nice right? Bad news is greens aeration couldn’t have gone much worse. I will spare you the details, but the part you need to know is our topdresser engine seized, so we can’t finish topdressing the greens. Only half the greens got sand. I’m really sorry about this inconvenience, but trust me no one is more frustrated than me. I am working on getting another one so we can finish sanding. Once we have it, it will be done immediately. Again, I apologize about the unforeseen equipment failure.
