🍂🐴 FALL BARN CLEAN DAY! 🐴🍂

The horses give us SO much all year long, so I thought it would be fun to have a little fall clean up day and give back to the horses that make our program so special! 🤎

We’ll spend the afternoon:
✨ Cleaning and conditioning saddles
✨ Organizing the tack room
✨ Bathing and pampering the horses
✨ Getting the barn fresh and ready for fall

📅 October 4th
⏰ 11 AM–3 PM

I’ll have snacks and drinks for the kiddos who come help, too! 🧃🍪

Ba****ck work is about so much more than riding without a saddle. 🐴

It teaches my students to feel the horse underneath them, find their balance, and become more aware of what their own body is doing. That body awareness makes such a difference in the saddle. Come take a lessons with us!! Let’s ride! ❤️

I know the Facebook keyboard warriors are gonna love this one….Apparently my little stakes caused quite the controversy 😂🥴

So here’s another barrel drill with Wasabi! These simple drills are such a good way to work on body control and turns without just running the pattern over and over.

I want my students to learn that communication with their horse starts with their body, not their hands.

Your seat, balance, and body position can change so much without ever touching the reins and this is exactly what we work on in my program. 🔥

Today was a tough one and I was feeling pretty burnt out, but getting to see my good friend Clara Eigner really turned my day around. I’ve missed our friendship, our talks about horses and clothes, and just having her out at the barn. ❤️

Then I got to have some really great lessons and watch my students make those little connections with their horses that make all the hard days worth it. 🤎🐴
