Sterling Varsity Tigers Claim Victory Over Fletcher Varsity Wildcats

Sterling Varsity Tigers bested Fletcher Varsity Wildcats 5-3 on Tuesday.
Sterling Varsity Tigers got on the board in the first inning after Hagan Geiger singled, scoring one run.
Fletcher Varsity Wildcats jumped back into the lead in the top of the third inning after Zach Herriage lined out, and Easton Chinnow flew out, each scoring one run.
Seth Bradberry flew out, which helped Sterling Varsity Tigers tie the game at two in the bottom of the third.
Fletcher Varsity Wildcats took the lead in the top of the fourth. Herriage singled, scoring one run, to give Fletcher Varsity Wildcats the leg up, 3-2.
Sterling Varsity Tigers jumped back into the lead in the bottom of the fourth inning after Ashton Walker singled down the right field line, and Huck Hanza grounded out, each scoring one run.
Levi Mansel earned the win for Sterling Varsity Tigers. The pitcher surrendered eight hits and three runs over seven innings, striking out two and walking five. Easton Ross took the loss for Fletcher Varsity Wildcats. The hurler went one inning, surrendering three runs (one earned) on three hits, striking out none and walking one. Kasen Dennard started the game for Fletcher Varsity Wildcats. The starter surrendered three hits and two runs over three innings, striking out two and walking none.
Ty Mosely and Geiger each collected two hits for Sterling Varsity Tigers. Hanza, Geiger, and Walker each drove in one run for Sterling Varsity Tigers. Sterling Varsity Tigers turned one double play in the game.
Mason Cooper and Dennard each collected two hits for Fletcher Varsity Wildcats. Chinnow and Herriage each drove in one run for Fletcher Varsity Wildcats. Dennard stole two bases. Fletcher Varsity Wildcats ran wild on the base paths, tallying four stolen bases for the game. Fletcher Varsity Wildcats turned one double play in the game.
