Cowboy Capital of the World Ranch Rodeo is coming your way. Watch 40 of the best working ranch cowboys compete in unique events typical to their daily chores. Only this time….its under BRIGHT lights…for a PILE of money, GREAT prizes, and ALL the bragging rights.

Following suit with a few of our other fellow PRCA Rodeos, Stephenville is keeping tracking track of our since moving to the new facility at Priefert Cowboy Capital Fairgrounds Arena in 2023. Up until then, the Cowboy Capital of the World PRCA Rodeo had been held at the outdoor ECLA Rodeo Arena (no longer there) from the late 1960’s thru the early 2000’s and the indoor Lone Star Arena (now closed). While there are 5 decades of before 2023, we are starting fresh at our new arena!

The Miss Cowboy Capital Pro Rodeo Contestants have officially been announced on our Rodeo Royalty page and we couldn’t be more proud to join in the excitement! 10 of these lovely young ladies will compete for the titles of Miss, Teen, and Princess at the Miss Cowboy Capital Pro Rodeo Pageant held at the Cowboy Church of Erath County on September 18 and 19. The contest is open to the public, free to attend, and all are encouraged to watch these girls compete in Horsemanship and other categories like Speech, Modeling, and Impromptu. Coronation will be held on Saturday, September 26 at the final performance of the 2026 Cowboy Capital of the World PRCA Rodeo at the Priefert Cowboy Capital Fairgrounds Arena .

To kick off the pageant, leave a positive word of encouragement and wish the girls good luck! Let’s RODEO STEPHENVILLE!
