December 1, 2026 is when the Va Attorney General will start revoking concealed carry recognition agreements in Virginia. We Don’t know for sure which states will be revoked but in 2015 Atty General Mark Herring created this list of states that should be revoked and it is likely that this is what Jay Jones is going to follow

* Delaware
* Florida
* Idaho
* Indiana
* Kansas
* Kentucky
* Louisiana
* Minnesota
* Mississippi
* Montana
* Nebraska
* New Mexico
* North Carolina
* North Dakota
* Ohio
* Pennsylvania
* South Carolina
* South Dakota
* Tennessee
* Washington
* Wisconsin
* Wyoming
If you obtain a Utah nonresident permit, you will be able to carry in most of these states if your Virginia permit no longer works there. Utah is the backstop.
