Lucy and Lucia both competed in a Y12 event at Z1 Fencing today. They supported one another well, from warm ups to playing on the pull-up bars at the end. Way to go, SabreCats!

Scenes from today’s Saturday Sabre Series at RCFC. First we had a spirited Y12 featuring some great fencing by our youth contingent and several super close bouts. Then we had a wonderful unrated senior event where everyone demonstrated marked improvement from their last tournament. Great job everyone!

Coach Kate competed today at the Pomme de Terre tournament, held at Brandeis University. She is bringing home the gold…and a Mr Potato Head! Big thanks to Kajsa Newlin for the videos and pictures.

Congratulations to Coach Kate on bringing home three medals from the CanAm tournament in Markham, Ontario!! After placing first out of pools, she ended up with a silver in Vet50, a bronze in Vet Combined, and a bronze in Team. A great result from her first time competing in Canada!
