The most magical couple of days private guiding a group of repeat clients here in the Scottish Highlands! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🏔✨️

On Day 1, we tackled Ben Nevis via the CMD Arete, followed by the mighty Ring of Steall on Day 2! 💪 The team absolutely smashed it!!! 💪

We lucked out on the weather 🌞 with some brief 🌧 the weekend was filled with so much laughter, happiness & joy! 🌞✨️

We hiked 22 miles in total including 6 Munros and a whopping 3183 metres of ascent over the 2 days! 💪

Beyond grateful to our regular clients for their ongoing support ~ it truly means the world! 🥹❤️

4 Night Knoydart Munro Mountain Journey 🏔✨️

What an honour it has been to guide Michelle & Kasia into the magical, sacred lands of Knoydart 🧚‍♀️🏔✨️ Over the past few days we lived simply out of a private bothy nestled amongst the mountains, this basic but homely off-grid bothy, would serve as our base as we explored the land over the days...

Whilst most of the UK was experiencing a heatwave, our first couple of days was quite the contrast, instead we were treat to more typical Knoydart weather - wind & lots of rain! 🌧🌬 Never enough though to dampen the spirits of these two strong, inspiring women though ~ spirits remained high throughout, even despite the psychotic, pathless descent down from Sgùrr Coire Choinnichean in the pouring rain and gale force winds... We were, however, treat blue skies and sunshine for our final days hiking in Knoydart 🌞✨️ finally, we could see the mountains, our surroundings for the first time! 🌞🧚‍♀️😍 For our final day, we climbed the two Munros Luinne Bheinn (affectionately known as Loony Bin) & Meall Buidhe, these remote mountains were challenging but full of character and so much magic 🧙🏔🧚‍♀️ offering incredible panoramic views of these sacred lands ~ out to the Small Isles, the jagged peaks of the Isle of Skye, the majestic Corbett of Ben Aden and down to white sandy bay and crystal blue waters of Barrisdale Bay, all nestled amongst layers and layers of mountain magic...

Our time together in the bothy was intimate and raw, no easy feat we covered over 42 rough miles with over 3000m of ascent over the 4 days but we laughed, we chatted, we shared apple and pear green tea, removed ticks, tended to blisters and sun burn, we shared stories of our lives, we made decisions together as a team out on the hill when the weather turned ~ honoured I am to be able to guide women like these into the mountains, to hopefully be able to pass on some skills to make them feel more confident in these wild places going forward...

Knoydart Wild Camping Journey 🏕✨️

And just like that, our first Knoydart Wild Camping Journey of the year has come to and end! 🥹 What an amazing journey it was! On Friday, the 5 of us met in Mallaig and began our 30 mile journey along a tough but wild section of the Cape Wrath Trail from Glenfinnan to Inverie...

The sun was shining and was set to remain for the coming days! 🌞🌞Our group quickly got to know each other with lots of chatter and laughter, we made plenty of stops beside the river to cool off along the way whilst heading further into the wilds of Knoydart... 😍🏔🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

3 days we enjoyed without phone signal, 2 nights spent wild camping, allowing us to completely disconnect from the outside world, living simply, carrying everything we needed in our packs to be self sufficient for our time spent traversing these wild and remote lands... The call of the Cuckoo stayed with us throughout...

🌞 Community Hike 🌞 Wuthering Heights Walk 🪾✨️

What an incredible day for our second Community Hike! 🥹🌞 This morning we me early in Haworth, taking a relaxed pace, we enjoyed the sun and chatted away as we headed up onto the lonely moors... Stopping for a break at the Bronte bridge for a short break before heading up further to the ruins of Top Withens where we stopped for lunch before returning to Haworth via a short section of the Pennine Way 😍

Today I was joined by Paul, Ross and Gemma, Paul is one of our most regular clients - this was his 4th hike with us!! Ross joined us again for our second Community Hike after joining us for the first and as always, we were so grateful for their presence 🙏 today we were also joined by the beautiful Gemma who I was so happy to meet after a couple of years of chatting here on Instagram 🥰 A truly wholesome day!
