Happy Valley Sports & Entertainment Alliance

The State Games of America is a premier Olympic-style event held every two years in a different host city. This year, State College will welcome athletes from all 50 states competing in more than 50 sports!

We're looking for volunteers to be part of the Opening Ceremony, which will officially kick off the Games at the Bryce Jordan Center on Friday, July 31. Experience the excitement of an athlete parade featuring thousands of competitors from across the country, appearances by Olympic and athletic figures, incredible entertainment including a performance by the internationally acclaimed Red Panda, and much more.

Volunteers will march in the Parade of Athletes for states that do not have a designated flag bearer, assisting with carrying state flags and banners to the stage. Following the parade, volunteers are invited to take a seat and enjoy the remainder of the Opening Ceremony.
