Don't wait! Come on out and Ride!
Why Lease a Horse? Leasing will give you all the riding rights as being a horse owner without the expense of feed bills, vet and farrier bills and the cost of boarding. North Star Stable has horses for beginners to experienced riders! Even ponies!

You will be matched with a horse that meets your riding ability and style. English or Western tack is provided as are grooming tools. We do ask that you wear a helmet and appropriate boots or shoes for riding. Lease holders are welcome to participate in North Star events such as game nights, trail rides, clinics and special events. Lessons are also available for all levels.

*If you are an experienced rider and would be willing to work with some of our horses in training we offer a discounted rate. This is only for the rider that is at a more advanced level.*

We welcome families and older riders! North Star Stable is a no drama, teaching and leasing stable located 40 minutes from Mpls/St Paul in Stacy, MN.

RIP beautiful Cheyenne some of my favorite horse memories are from this mare. She passed away peacefully with all her herd mates. She was with me for over 27 years. Minus the few years I had sold her then got her back. Thank you girl for teaching people how to ride.
