Next Wednesday, August 26, we’ll be at Schlafly Bottleworks celebrating our 2026 IREM Industry Partners with good food, good drinks, prizes, raffles, and a room full of familiar faces.

This is always a fun one because it’s simple: we’re getting together to say thank you. Our Industry Partners support property managers all year, and this evening gives us a chance to celebrate those relationships in person.

🇺🇸 A few weeks from now, we’ll gather at Art Hill for Flags of Valor.

This is one of those volunteer opportunities that feels different when you’re standing there in person. Two rows of flags. A quiet morning in Forest Park. Families, coworkers, and community members working side by side to honor the Victims and Heroes of September 11.

We’d be grateful to have you with us.

Installation details:

▪️ Saturday, September 5
▪️ 7:00 AM to 9:30 AM
▪️ Forest Park, base of Art Hill
▪️ Volunteers will install two rows of flags

There will be documentary filming during the September 5 installation, so all volunteers need to wear the official Flags of Valor T-shirt. If you already volunteered at the Flag Building event, you have your shirt. New volunteers will select a size when registering.

We’ll also need help with flag removal on Monday, September 14 from 7:00 AM to 9:30 AM.

Sometimes getting involved really does start with one small decision. 🙋‍♂️

At his first Focus on Friends event, Justin Dunlap heard that IREM St. Louis needed volunteers. He signed a “Count Me In” card and stepped forward.

He did not know where it would lead. That choice became chapter involvement, stronger professional connections, and eventually a place in chapter leadership.

Justin is now our 2026 Outreach Director and our Impact Icon Challenge participant.

Throwback Thursday to our 2024 Fall Celebration ✨🎩

This was such a good one.

We had awards, board installation, a room full of familiar faces, and a little extra fun thanks to Master Illusionist Keith Jozsef. Between the laughter, the recognition, and the magic tricks, this night had a little bit of everything.

It was also a chance to celebrate some incredible people and milestones in our chapter:
💙 Woodard Cleaning & Restoration as Industry Partner of the Year
💙 Sabriana Price as CPM Candidate of the Year
💙 The Irving Blue Educational Scholarship, honoring years of leadership, dedication, and mentorship

We also welcomed our 2025 leaders, including Jennifer Mesey, Sara Daut, Mark Hinchey, Jeanne Frank, and Angela Zimmerly, and recognized our incoming board members as they stepped into new roles.

Looking back at nights like this reminds us how much this chapter is built on people who show up, stay involved, and care deeply about the industry and each other. 🙌

What a great turn out for the very first IREM St. Louis Book Club! We are reading The Power of Mattering by Zach Mercurio and our first meeting gave us plenty to think about - especially the importance of helping people feel valued and seen.

Focus on Friends is coming up Wednesday, August 26 at Schlafly Bottleworks, and we’re looking forward to a great evening with our IREM community.

This one is all about appreciation. Our Industry Partners are there for the calls, the fixes, the emergencies, the projects, and the “can you help us figure this out?” moments. Now we get to bring everyone together and celebrate those relationships.

Justin Dunlap attended his first IREM St. Louis Focus on Friends event, heard that the chapter needed volunteers, and decided to raise his hand.

That decision led to deeper chapter involvement, his CPM®, an IREM Foundation Scholarship in 2025, and his current role as our 2026 Outreach Director.

Now Justin is representing IREM St. Louis in the 2026 Impact Icon Challenge and raising money for the Foundation that supported him.
