Box 1 of to do list on 9/16/26 ✅ felt good.. still having a hard time finishing at the top, but will get there.. Have an incredible day!!

Definitely stronger than yesterday. I’m glad I showed up this morning. I hope you show up for whatever your thing is today.

Day 4 - tough one this morning. Certainly not as strong as yesterday. Does that mean I have hit my threshold? Should I stop now? Will never know unless I show up tomorrow and find out. See you in the morning.. go get Monday!

Day 4 - feeling a little stronger with the grip. Pro tip - your grip strength can usually outlast your Pullup strength. When you’re spent with pull-ups, max out your grip strength by hanging from the bar as long as you can. It will also carry over to your Pullup strength… See you in the morning

Join me in a challenge. Grip strength is something that I avoid in my training. There, I said it. I avoid it because it’s a hard as hell, and when I train it makes me feel weak although I know it’s something that I need to work on… There, I said it again - Fat grip pull-ups ( the thick grips on the pull-up bar) are one of the things that I avoid all while knowing they are an incredible upper body exercise for building grip and total upper body strength.. yesterday I put a plan in motion, and decided to take a video of me doing 1 set of fat grip pull-ups every day until I can do 10 clean. For the record, I do not do 1 complete Pullup in either of these videos, I believe no pause no rep, and no kicking. That said it might be a while… This morning, I decided post my progress to show that progress itself is not as pretty as the final result. ALSO… That big mountain that you need to climb needs to be taken 1 step at a time. Realize the power of being consistent with micro changes.. slide one was yesterday, slide 2 was this morning. what is your “fat grip Pullup”???

Here’s our fun challenge of the day.. How many breaths can you hold a forward lean lunge for with 20% of your body weight in hand? I know I could hold it for at least the length of this video, and I did not care to find out how much longer I could hold it for beyond that. LTS members however, will be finding out today:)..

A few advanced Lateral Lunge variations for you to play with… Listed in progressive order - 1. Goblet Lateral heel roll lunge… 2. Offset heel roll lunge to press… 3. Overhead heel roll lunge.. by rolling on the heel you put more demand on the working leg, and you also allow yourself to go deeper into the lunge.. a couple tips - Work to keep the hips and shoulders square, and be mindful of how deep you go into the lunge to avoid overstretching… if you’re not familiar with lateral lunges, start by keeping the non working foot planted firmly into the ground and slowly work to rolling on the heel as your flexibility improves. if you do lateral lunge and squat variations, try these out to further strengthen the pattern. Don’t stay stuck - There’s always room to advance ;)

Round 3 circuit for today’s routine. If you’re not into all of this exercise stuff, at least rock out to a little Earth Wind and Fire to get the juices flowing.. bar Hang Update —————————-bar hang times are starting to double in time. Everyone’s getting better!! It’s Tuesday, Let’s go!!
