Saturday Mixers 9/12 & 9/19 (the weather is looking GREAT for this coming one!)

Sunday Advanced Mixers 9/13 & 9/20

Pop-Up Competitive Mixer - NEXT Sunday 9/20 @ 11:30 am

The last of the Pop-Ups for this season :( If you want to play but don’t have a partner, let Karen know and we’ll try to find you one.

Annual Freedman Memorial Tournament and Member Picnic

The Member Picnic will be held on Sat 9/26, beginning at 11:30 am

Come join us for hamburgers, hot dogs and the fixings to celebrate a great season of clay court tennis! We’ll have the food; bring your own chair!

The Annual Freedman tournament will take place 9/26-27

Age-banded divisions for Juniors, Men, Women, Mixed

If we don’t get enough in an age group, we try to merge things to make it work for everyone that wants to play.

Hello Everyone!

You may have heard that there was considerable tree damage at the park last weekend due to some storms. We’re very lucky that the courts and surrounding area is in good shape and wasn’t impacted.

Thankful we’re able to say that “the usual” events are on tap for the weekend…..

IMPORTANT COURT AVAILABILITY NOTE: After Saturday’s mixer, we are hosting a USTA Level 6 Junior Tournament starting at 11 am. The tournament will use ALL of the clay courts between 11 am and 2:30 pm on Saturday. After 2:30, the tournament will continue but courts should start to open up. Feel free to check in with Karen if you have any questions or are wondering the status on Saturday 413-219-5151. This is the last of these USTA tournaments for the season, so thank you for your patience on the court situation!

IMPORTANT COURT AVAILABILITY NOTE: After Saturday’s mixer, we are hosting a USTA Level 6 Junior Tournament starting at 11 am. The tournament will use most of the clay courts between 11 am and 4 pm on Saturday. There should be 1-2 courts available during this time but check in with Karen if you have any questions 413-219-5151. If you’re in the area, come check out the tournament action!

Hello Players!

We are in the midst of a couple of busy weekends on the clay!

In addition to last Saturday’s Strawberries & Cream Mixer in celebration of the Wimbledon Finals (thank you Barbara & Al!), we also hosted the 3rd Annual Presidents Cup Team Doubles Competition and a Junior Battle for the Border Junior Challenge event.

Plus a number of groups playing on their own …. It was a great weekend for the clay courts!

Congrats to Team Martin (Martin Pelletier, Sujith Sasidharan, Dan Reynolds & Gerry Fawthrop) who defeated the team of Cassandra Crowal, Jeremy Kurtz, Michael Myers, Sara Kulla and Tom Downey by a single tiebreaker to win this year’s President’s Cup. So close! A few pictures of the events are below.

This coming weekend, we will host our regular Saturday mixer from 9 - 11 am, and have also posted the Sunday Advanced Mixer from 3 - 5 pm. Please sign up on the app if you are able to join in!

IMPORTANT COURT AVAILABILITY NOTE: After Saturday’s mixer, we are hosting a USTA Level 7 Junior Tournament starting at 11 am. The tournament will need to use all of the clay courts between 11 am and 4 pm on Saturday. If anyone is looking for a court during this time, the hard courts should be available or you can call or text Karen and she can provide an update in case there’s an unexpected change in tournament schedule 413-219-5151. I don't think that any of the 8 courts have this problem
