Out with summer, in with FALL at the studio! 🍂

Uplift officially has its fall look, and I had so much fun putting it all together! 🍁🧡

One of my favorite things is making our little corner of downtown Springfield feel bright, fun, and festive as the seasons change.

✨ ’Twas the Night Before Season Five ✨

’Twas the night before Season Five,
and all through Uplift,
the studios were sparkling,
each corner had been fixed. ✨

The first-day signs were waiting,
all handmade with care,
and a great big pink FIVE
stood proudly right there. 💗

The floors had been cleaned,
the classrooms made new,
with fresh little touches
and improvements throughout, too.

The teachers were ready,
our assistants were too,
with new dreams to nurture
and big things to do.

There are dances not danced yet,
new skills still to learn,
new friendships to blossom,
and confidence to earn.

There are first-ever classes,
new teachers to meet,
new aerial adventures,
and rhythms to find with our feet.

There are costumes and spotlights
still waiting ahead,
and ideas for performances
still living in our heads.

Tonight, though, it’s quiet.
The studios are still.
But tomorrow these rooms
will once again fill.

With music and laughter,
with courage and cheer,
with hundreds of moments
we’ll remember all year.

Five seasons of Uplift.
How lucky are we?
And somehow it still feels
like we’re just getting started. ✨

So here’s to the wonder,
the growth, and the drive…

Auditions are TONIGHT!

✨ Aerial Performance Company auditions are THIS FRIDAY! ✨

Our brand-new Aerial Performance Company is a performance- and artistry-based company created for aerialists who are ready to take their art to the next level.

Rather than competing, this company will focus on developing artistry, expression, confidence, and performance skills through both Lyra and Aerial Silks. Students may audition for Lyra, Silks, or both!

Auditions are by invitation only and will take place Friday, September 4. Invitations went out last Spring!

✨ Ages 6–10: 6:00 PM
✨ Ages 11+: 7:00 PM

Aerialists interested in auditioning for a solo or duo should also prepare approximately 30 seconds of choreography to share with us.

We cannot wait to begin this exciting new artistic experience with our aerialists! 💜✨

We LOVE our Studio Assistants! 🥹💕

Tonight we gathered this incredible crew for our annual Studio Assistant Training: learning, connecting, and preparing for another amazing season at Uplift.

These talented young people are so much more than helping hands in the classroom. They’re mentors, role models, leaders, and such an important part of the supportive community we work so hard to create for our students.

We’re incredibly proud of them and so lucky to have them on Team Uplift. ✨
