Solar Sundaying! β˜€οΈπŸ”

Ever wonder what our local star looks like up close? Captured this incredible view highlighting the Sun's churning chromosphere, magnetic filaments, active sunspot regions, and a massive plasma prominence reaching out into space. It's a reminder of just how dynamic and powerful our Sun really is!

Some pics from our Lunar Eclipse event at One 2 Five Taproom Thursday evening 8/27/26. Sorry I didn't get more pics of our scopes and set up, but I was busy with the public and getting some pictures of the eclipse most of the evening, and after I got set up, the guy in the red shirt in the first picture was waiting to interview me for KY3. I still haven't seen the interview (other than from my POV while I was doing it, lol). You may need to click on the second image to get the animation to play. Since I didn't get many pics of the crown, I will put a link to One 2 Five Taproom's post in the comments.
