Nope. ๐
You don't need to get more flexible first.
You don't need to get stronger first.
And you definitely don't need to know what you're doing before you walk through my door.
In fact, I LOVE teaching beginners.
When you're new, we get to start from the ground up. You learn how to use your body instead of trying to force it into a shape. You learn what you're supposed to feel, what you're NOT supposed to feel, and why we're doing what we're doing.
That's yoga.
Not touching your toes.
I wrote more about why beginners often thrive at Balance Yoga in this week's B๐ผ๐ฑ๐ ๐ ๐ฒ๐ฐ๐ต๐ฎ๐ป๐ถ๐ฐ ๐ก๐ผ๐๐ฒ๐.

๐ And if you've been thinking about trying yoga but haven't quite made it through the door yet, consider this your invitation.
