Well folks, unfortunately it's getting to be that time. August 29th will be the final day of normal operations here at Cyclotherapy.
We've known the end (under current management...) was coming for most of the summer, but several converging external and internal factors have moved the date up a month or two. I'll probably make a more flowery post later, but for now here's what you need to know:
The shop will be closed the 17th-21st. Sorry, I know it sucks, but it's unavoidable. We will be open normal hours, perhaps even extended hours, next Saturday. If you would like to pick up a completed service order during this time just email us at [email protected] and we'll do our absolute best to accommodate you.
The shop (as of now, subject to change) will be open normal hours the week of the 24th, and this will be the final period of weekday operations. We will continue to operate on Saturdays at least through the end of September. If you have an unspent gift card balance, the remainder of August would be the best time to use it but we certainly won't turn you away in September. We do ask you to limit your purchases to in-store items, especially after August.
As of now we are no longer a Specialized dealer (even if we still appear on their dealer locator) so please DO NOT use us as a destination for click-and-collect orders. Today we still have access to Turbo Studio software to update their e-bikes, but tomorrow, next week, the week after? Who knows? Please plan accordingly.
Finally, regarding the service department, as of today we are no longer accepting bikes for drop-off service and repair work. We may revisit this in September, but for the rest of the month it's just tires, tubes, and minor adjustments at our discretion. Please visit our friends at Black Pug Bike Repair, Bicycle Stop, Atomic Cycles, Bicycle Revival or The Village Cyclery for your more extensive repair needs.
