Last night went pretty well for us.
Started the heat off rough. Was not prepared for how slick the track was. Started 4th and was not getting any traction. Nothing but wheel spin the entire time. Fell back and finished 8th.
James Hinrichs and Colton Inmon were a tremendous help with getting my car dialed in better for the feature and the track conditions. The feature wouldn’t have gone as well as it did without y’all’s help!
Going into the feature, had to start in the back thanks to my flop of a run in my heat.
Green came out and we went straight to work chipping away at the cars ahead of us. Ended up making 6 passes for 11th and for a lap or so made it up to 10th. But coming around the last corner of the final lap, came up on a slower car. Forced us to have to go low, while the car I was holding off for 10th went high. Ultimately got me at the finish by less than a bumper and caused me to finish 11th.
We were closing gaps and working our way through the field but didn’t do it fast enough and ran out of laps.
11th out of 17, not what we wanted but not too bad.
