After 11 years as a blue belt in BJJ (haven’t trained regularly in it until a year ago), I finally achieved my purple belt at 55 y/o. My BJJ Instructor, Jorge, is one of my Judo students and started teaching our respective arts to one another. He helped me re-train my BJJ techniques and shake off all the rust. And thanks to my son, Shaun, for being my Uke for the whole test.
