Summer Nationals in Irvine, CA
This was our first trip to this meet, and the standard has truly been set.
Micah Tennison shined bright among incredible swimmers from all over the USA. His standout performance was on Day 1 in the 100 free, where he finished in the top 8 for the 18&unders during prelims. In the finals, swimming from the outside lane, he executed an all-out sprint to the wall to tie for 2nd place, earning a chance to hopefully make the Junior Pan Pac team. He also swam a personal best and achieved the 2024 Olympic Trials cut! 🔥
We are so impressed with his resilience, dedication, and determination at such a high-level meet. We even heard Rowdy Gaines say, “Micah Tennison from Swim Streamline!” 🎉🎉🎉
He had the support of his long time coaches, his teammates back home, his parents & Speedo. We cheered near and far for this young man! 😊
It was a meet filled with life lessons, good times, great memories, inspiration of watching Caeleb Dressel make his come back, catching up with SSAN alum- Bella Ortiz and an amazing step forward for Micah and SSAN.👏🏻
Congratulations, Micah!!

What an incredible weekend at Short Course Sectionals in Justin, TX!
Our high school athletes rose to the occasion, overcoming fatigue from a demanding high school season to conquer fears, step out of their comfort zones, and achieve their goals. Due to the high volume of dual meets, invitationals, and championship rounds, these athletes swim two to three times more often than our age group and developmental programs. Despite multiple tapers and a rigorous schedule of morning and afternoon workouts, they found a way to excel. 😊
We celebrated multiple gold medal swims, new time standards, personal bests, and numerous top-40 individual and relay finishes. While we narrowly missed our goal of a top-10 finish we placed 11th which our highest sectionals finish to date, the effort displayed was a major win for SSAN. As we often say, a win isn’t always a best time—it is doing your best.👏🏻
The heart, determination, team culture, and grit shown this weekend were among the best in our team’s 18-year history. 🎉Congratulations to the 22 athletes who swam, cheered, and worked together to make this success possible.
A special shout-out to Micah Tennison for being named the High Point Runner-Up. Fresh off gold medal performances at the High School State meet, he brought the fire all weekend with three additional gold medal swims.
We also want to recognize our Class of 2026 Seniors—Natalie, Taylor, Reiya, John, and Jack Henry—who just competed in their final Spring Sectionals with us. We have no doubt they will continue to be successful in all their future endeavors.
Thank you to our incredible coaches and parents for your support Together, we helped our athletes reach their goals and achieve outstanding success.

We finished February strong and started March even stronger at the 13 & Over Championships. SSAN finished in second place 🏆🥈, with many athletes achieving new time standards and winning relays. 🔥 & Ella D. earned the 13-14 high point! 🏆Most impressive, was the resilience, grit, and determination our swimmers showed when bouncing back after a race or a missed cut. Resilience is essential for greatness, and our team culture of mutual support shined bright all weekend. ✨
I want to give a shout-out to our coaching team for their efforts. Thank you for your commitment to our athletes and for reminding them to stay relentless in the pursuit of success. 🙌🏻
