🔥 EQUIPMENT SPOTLIGHT: PANNATTA 3D ABDUCTOR 🔥
This week’s Spotlight is a serious piece of Italian engineering — the Pannatta 3D Abductor.
Unlike a conventional abductor that simply moves the legs outward in one fixed plane, the 3D design allows the hips to work through a more natural, multi-directional movement pattern. The result is an extremely effective way to train the gluteus medius, gluteus minimus and surrounding hip musculature while keeping the movement controlled and stable.
💥 WHAT MAKES IT DIFFERENT?
• 3D multi-plane hip movement
• Independent lever arms
• Plate-loaded resistance
• Adjustable range of motion
• Adjustable seat positioning
• Ergonomic back support
• Heavy-duty commercial construction
• Built for serious loading and controlled reps
The ability to load the machine heavily while maintaining a stable position makes it an excellent tool for building stronger, thicker and more developed glutes and hips.
And like many Pannatta pieces, the attention to biomechanics is what really stands out. The machine isn’t just designed to move weight — it’s designed to make the target musculature do the work.
💰 AND THIS MACHINE ISN’T CHEAP.
The current Panatta 3D Abductor is listed by one U.S. equipment dealer at $10,803, while a 2025 commercial equipment quote showed an MSRP of $9,486 and a quoted selling price. That’s before freight, installation and any customization.
🇮🇹 ITALIAN ENGINEERING. SERIOUS BIOMECHANICS.
This is exactly the kind of equipment we love at Hardcore Gym: machines that aren’t everywhere, aren’t built around trends, and give serious lifters another tool to push their training further.
If you’ve never used a Pannatta 3D Abductor, come find it at Hardcore Gym in Spokane, WA and see what makes it different.

This is the one.
We just installed a Rogue 108” Monster Rack — the tallest height Rogue makes.
Not the 90. Not the 100. The full 108.
That extra height means:
• Real clearance for tall athletes
• Higher pull-up positions
• More room for clean overhead work
• Better bar path and setup options on heavy lifts
This is Rogue’s Monster series — 3x3” 11-gauge steel, built for commercial use and serious training. The kind of rack that doesn’t flex, doesn’t rattle, and doesn’t quit when the weight gets heavy.
At Hardcore Gym we don’t settle for “good enough.” We keep bringing in the best equipment we can find so our members can train without limits. This rack is another step in that direction.
If you’ve been waiting for a setup that actually matches how hard you train — it’s here.
Come use it. Push it. Own it.

🏋️ EQUIPMENT SPOTLIGHT
Paramount L0500 Overhead Press
Some machines are common. Others become so scarce that even longtime collectors rarely encounter them.
The Paramount L0500 Overhead Press is one of those machines.
This isn’t another FW or A.R.T. series machine. The original factory identification plate confirms this is Model L0500, manufactured by Paramount Fitness Corporation in Los Angeles, California.
What makes it special isn’t just its age—it’s how little information remains. Despite extensive research through archived catalogs, manuals, and collector resources, we have not found a digitized factory brochure or owner’s manual for the L0500. That makes surviving examples especially interesting to collectors of vintage commercial gym equipment.
The L0500 features independent plate-loaded press arms, a natural overhead pressing arc, an adjustable seat, a fixed back pad, and unique rotating roller-style grip sleeves that allow your hands to move naturally throughout the press.
How rare is it?
While no verified production numbers have surfaced, we can say this with confidence:
✔ Factory Model L0500 verified
✔ One of Paramount’s least documented machines
✔ Extremely uncommon in commercial gyms
✔ Rarely seen on the secondary market
In over 25 years of collecting, restoring, buying, selling, and training on commercial gym equipment, Hardcore Gym has never encountered another Paramount L0500 in a commercial gym.
We’re proud to preserve machines like this—not just because they’re built to last, but because they represent an important chapter in the history of American strength equipment.

🏋️ EQUIPMENT SPOTLIGHT: Saxon Squat
Some of the rarest machines in the strength world were never mass-produced. The **Saxon Squat** is one of them.
Designed by equipment innovator **Steve Tylee**, the Saxon Squat was created to provide a more upright, controlled squat pattern while heavily emphasizing the quadriceps. Its guided vertical carriage, front squat shoulder pad, and built-in shin support eliminate much of the balance required in a traditional squat, allowing lifters to focus purely on driving through the legs.
Steve Tylee is well known in the hardcore equipment community for designing machines like the EuroSquat, GlutePress, and GluteRaze. He also worked closely with Randy Coyle, helping distribute and promote the legendary Swing Squat. That’s how we were fortunate enough to acquire both our original Randy Coyle Swing Squat and this Saxon Squat directly through Steve.
One of the most interesting parts of this machine is its rarity. When we purchased ours in 2019, we were told our shipment was one of only **five units** available at the time. While we can’t confirm whether additional production runs were built later, authentic Saxon Squats are exceptionally difficult to find today and almost never appear on the secondary market.
What makes this machine special isn’t just its rarity—it’s how it feels. The upright movement pattern, strict mechanics, and unique design create an incredible quad-focused squat that’s unlike anything else in the gym.
**Why it’s legendary:**
✅ Designed by Steve Tylee
✅ Extremely limited production
✅ Guided upright squat pattern
✅ Front squat shoulder pad with built-in shin support
✅ Heavy-duty commercial construction
✅ A true collector’s piece
We’re proud to preserve machines like this so today’s lifters can experience equipment that most people will never even see.

🏋️ EQUIPMENT SPOTLIGHT: Original Nebula Hack Squat
Some machines make you feel strong.
The **Original Nebula Hack Squat** reminds you how strong you really are.
Designed by **Tom Eilerman** of Nebula Fitness, this machine has become one of the most respected hack squats ever built. Its steeper angle creates a longer range of motion and places tremendous emphasis on the quadriceps, forcing even experienced lifters to use less weight than they would on most other hack squat machines.
That’s exactly what makes it legendary.
The first workout on a Nebula Hack Squat is a humbling experience. The movement doesn’t let you cheat the weight or shorten the range. Every rep demands control, making lighter weights feel surprisingly heavy while delivering incredible quad development.
Built in the USA with the heavy-duty construction Nebula became famous for, these machines were engineered for serious training—not shortcuts. When Rogue Fitness acquired Nebula in 2012, production of the original designs came to an end. Today, authentic original Nebula machines are increasingly difficult to find and highly sought after by collectors, private gyms, and old-school training facilities.
What makes ours even more special is its condition. This is an authentic **Original Nebula Hack Squat**, beautifully preserved and still delivering the same brutally effective workout that made it legendary.
**Why it’s legendary:**
✅ Original Tom Eilerman / Nebula Fitness design
✅ Steeper angle than most hack squats
✅ Deep range of motion for maximum quad development
✅ Forces strict form with less weight
✅ Heavy-duty American-made construction
✅ Original machine that’s no longer manufactured
At Hardcore Gym, we’re proud to preserve equipment that helped define an era of strength training.

🏋️ EQUIPMENT SPOTLIGHT: Original Tru Squat
Before there were countless squat machines, there was the Original Tru Squat.
Developed by Larry Nichols of Southern Xercise, Inc., this is the original production version that helped establish the Tru Squat as one of the most innovative leg machines ever built.
Using a unique counterbalanced lever system, the Tru Squat allows a deep, natural squat while reducing stress on the spine, shoulders, and wrists. The movement delivers incredible quad, glute, and hamstring activation, making it a favorite among serious lifters for decades.
Unlike modern commercial equipment, original Southern Xercise Tru Squats were built in limited numbers and have been out of production for years. As a result, authentic originals have become increasingly rare and highly sought after by collectors and old-school gym owners.
What makes ours even more special is its condition. This is an authentic, original Tru Squat that’s been beautifully preserved and is still delivering the same incredible workout it was designed for decades ago.
Why it’s legendary:
✅ Original Larry Nichols / Southern Xercise design
✅ Original production Tru Squat
✅ Natural squat mechanics
✅ Reduced spinal loading
✅ Heavy-duty American construction
✅ Rare collector’s piece
At Hardcore Gym, we’re proud to preserve legendary equipment like this so today’s lifters can experience the machines that helped define an era of strength training.

🏋️ EQUIPMENT SPOTLIGHT: Randy Coyle Original Swing Squat
Some machines are built.
Others are invented.
The Randy Coyle Original Swing Squat is one of the most unique squat machines ever created. Designed, patented, and personally manufactured by inventor Randy Coyle, this machine was engineered to deliver a deep, natural squat movement while eliminating the need to balance a barbell across your shoulders.
Instead of forcing the body through a fixed path, the Swing Squat uses a unique pendulum-style movement that follows a natural squatting motion. The result is an incredibly comfortable yet brutally effective leg exercise that has earned a cult following among serious lifters.
Unlike mass-produced commercial equipment, Randy personally built these machines in limited numbers. Following his passing in 2024, no new original Swing Squats are being produced, making surviving examples increasingly difficult to find.
What makes ours even more special is its condition. Finding an authentic Randy Coyle Swing Squat is rare enough—but finding one this clean and well-preserved is something you almost never see.
Today, the Swing Squat has become one of the most sought-after collector pieces in the world of vintage strength equipment. It’s not just another leg machine—it’s a piece of strength-training history.
Why is it legendary?
✅ Invented and patented by Randy Coyle
✅ Original pendulum-style squat design
✅ Deep, natural squat movement
✅ No barbell resting across the spine
✅ Produced in limited numbers
✅ No longer manufactured
✅ Extremely rare collector’s piece
At Hardcore Gym, we’re committed to preserving the machines that helped shape the history of strength training. This is your chance to experience a piece of equipment that very few lifters will ever get to use.

🏋️ EQUIPMENT SPOTLIGHT: Nebula Leg Press
Some leg presses are good.
The Nebula Leg Press is legendary.
Designed by Tom Eilerman, founder of Nebula Fitness, this machine has earned a reputation among bodybuilders, collectors, and gym owners as one of the finest leg presses ever built. Its 35-degree design, exceptionally smooth movement, and natural biomechanics create an experience that’s difficult to match—even by today’s standards.
This is the same style of Nebula Leg Press that became famous through Ronnie Coleman and Metroflex Gym, where countless heavy-duty training sessions helped cement its legendary reputation.
Nebula equipment is no longer manufactured, making original machines like this increasingly difficult to find. Since Rogue Fitness acquired Nebula in 2012, demand for these original pieces has continued to grow. Clean examples routinely command well over **$10,000** on the private market, making them one of the most desirable pieces of strength equipment ever produced.
What makes ours even more special is its condition. Finding an original Nebula Leg Press is rare enough—but finding one that’s been preserved in outstanding condition is something you almost never see.
Why is it legendary?
✅ Designed by Tom Eilerman
✅ Exceptional biomechanics and natural movement
✅ Massive load capacity for serious lifters
✅ Built like a tank in the USA

🏋️ EQUIPMENT SPOTLIGHT: Nautilus 1st Generation Pullover
There are vintage gym machines... and then there’s the original Nautilus 1st Generation Pullover.
Designed by Arthur Jones in the early 1970s, this machine helped revolutionize the fitness industry. Jones believed resistance machines should match the body’s natural strength curve, and the 1st Gen Pullover became one of the defining examples of that philosophy. Its unique chain-driven design delivers an incredibly smooth resistance profile while placing constant tension on the lats throughout the entire movement.
More than 50 years later, many strength coaches and bodybuilding enthusiasts still consider it one of the greatest machines ever built.
As original 1st Generation Pullover machines have become increasingly difficult to find, demand from collectors, private gyms, and old-school training facilities has continued to grow. Clean, original examples have sold for outrageous prices, with some changing hands for well over **$10,000**.
What makes ours even more special is its condition. Finding a complete, original 1st Generation Pullover is difficult enough—finding one that’s been preserved in this kind of shape is even rarer. We’re proud to have one that’s not only fully functional but remains in outstanding original condition.
It’s more than just an exercise machine—it’s a genuine piece of strength-training history.
Why is it legendary?
✅ Original chain-driven Nautilus design
✅ Revolutionary Arthur Jones engineering
✅ Incredible lat isolation and stretch
✅ Outstanding original condition
✅ One of the most collectible commercial gym machines ever produced
At Hardcore Gym, we’re proud to preserve equipment like this so today’s lifters can experience the machines that helped shape bodybuilding and strength training.
