Congrats to Duane making it to the Fargo finals!!!

The final push for four of our wrestlers is here! The 2026 Marine Corps Recruiting Junior Nationals is the largest and most prestigious age-group wrestling tournament in the world. Held annually at the Fargodome in Fargo, North Dakota. Wrestlers from all 50 states will compete in the 16U and Junior divisions, all earning a spot by qualifying at a regional tournament or their state tournament to represent their official state teams.

Let’s wish Trandyn, Duane, Briella and Rich along with Team Washington a BIG good luck as they test their hard work and commitment in an unforgettable experience!!!

10th - 12th : Boy’s Freestyle
14th - 15th : Boy’s Greco
16th - 18th : Girl’s Freestyle

And they’re off! The high school and middle school guys are headed to Caldwell, ID for Mizzou camp! Here’s to a weekend fulll of fun memories and hard work as a team!

And that’s a wrap on National Duals! Congratulations to Duane, Emily, Briella and Trandyn for all playing a part in Washington’s success on the national platform. They represented Mead Panthers/Big Cat Wrestling well!! 👏👏👏 The season isn’t quite done yet for three of them as they continue to train and prepare for Fargo.

Greco starts today for the girls and Team WA is seeded #1 in both 16U & 14U. Freestyle starts for the boys and WA is seeded #16. Good luck!!

All 3 of our athletes competing as Team WA this week will All American and place top 8 tomorrow! 14U & 16U Girls Freestyle for Emily and Briella along with Junior Boys Greco for Trandyn made the Gold/Silver Bracket, which guarantees placement and bringing home hardware!
