The North Bend Trail Fest Vert Month celebrates those who are willing to grind it out, we have a little something for you speed demons. The first person, male or female, to break an existing record on any of the below classic I90 climbs wins $100. That’s right, President Benjamin Franklin will be your best friend!

Mt Si - Old Trail Ascent using the ‘Old Si’ Strava segment. 2.25 mi, 3,354ft gain, 28.1% avg grade. Starts in little si parking lot and ends at the Rocky outcropping below Mt Si following the NBTF Vertical Kilometers course.

Mclellan Butte - Ascent only starting at the gate and ending at the summit. 5:43 mi, 4,394ft, 12% avg grade.

Mailbox - Old Trail Ascent using the ‘Mailbox Peak Uphill’ Strava segment. 2.14 mi, 3,891ft, 33.9% grade. Starts at the turnoff just up from the parking lot.

THE KAN Mt. Spokane Trail Run is back for year FIVE on June 6th! Explore alpine meadows, huckleberry groves, and old pine forests as you weave through Mt. Spokane Ski Park and the best trails that Mt. Spokane State Park has to offer. The Kan provides a mountain race feel but on a fast course (10k, 25k, & 50k). Stick around to celebrate after the event with cold beer provided by Lumberbeard Brewing and burritos provided by Old European (all included with race entry). There will also be a $2100 prize purse, sports massages, restaurant gift cards, gym memberships, and other sweet prizes up for grabs! Bring your race face!

First time RDing at Leavenworth Trail Fest. THANK YOU ALL!! 🥨🌼

Really rad field of runners with wins in the 25k and 50k . A last minute course change added a bit of spice including a section to steep for anyone to run all of it. Maybe next year 😉

Other highlights include various German themed things, getting dropped by an 8 year old at the kids race, and holding it down, seeing Katie romp around with Jack in lederhosen, some delicious kombucha, awesome volunteers and old friends, and a whole lot of new friends!

This race feels special. I appreciate all the hard work by Scott putting together a vision. I can’t wait to see what it has next for it.

50k starts at 7am, 25k starts at 7:30am, and 10k starts at 8am.
As always, packet pickup will be at in Kendall Yards from 3:30 to 5:30pm on Friday, June 5th. See you all up there! :)
