Who's up for a trip to Conconully? Looks Awesome.

This isn’t an RV park, but it is a designated camping area and we liked it very much and I felt like mentioning it. This is Salmon Meadows Campground, located north of Conconully, Washington. I’ve met two different types of people when you mention Conconully: most have never heard of it, the rest either are from there, grew up spending most of their time there, or have cabins there. It doesn’t seem like there’s much in between. Anyway, we managed to secure a site up there Memorial Day weekend after the spot I had originally planned on didn’t pan out. They do have potable water there and the trail access is wonderful. There were multiple large groups but the area was so spread out that we felt pretty secluded. It was a long gravel road to get up to the site, some people aren’t huge fans of that but it was just another day out of the office for us. (Once you’ve dragged a trailer up to Manastash campground everything else is easy peasy lol).

It’s an easy site to find on OnX, or you just drive to Conconully and just keep going until you can’t any longer.

There is only ONE week until the Smackout Adventures Poker Ride, presented by Kalispel Casino. We are awarding prizes to the top 4 hands and the worst hand. Below is the minimum cash and additional prizes for each spot. First place sports wins over $600 in cash and prizes! Based on the number of paid poker cards, these cash amount could go up. The final determination will be around noon on Saturday once card sales are closed at 11am.

1st: $250 Cash, 1 Night Quest Stay + $100 Gift Card, 1 Year Onx Elite Membership and Swag
2nd: $150 Cash, $200 Gift Card, 1 Year Onx Elite Membership and Swag
3rd: $100 Cash, $100 Gift Card, 1 Year Onx Elite Membership and Swag
4th: $50 Cash, 1 Year Onx Elite Membership and Swag
Worst: $50 Cash

There will not be a raffle or 50/50 drawing and food and beverages will be available in the Market and Casino.

You may register as early at 7:30, but we don't recommend you leave out until 8:30. Poker card sales end at 11am and we recommend everyone start the poker ride before 11am as well. Below is when each Poker stop will be open. If you miss a poker stop, proceed to the next poker stop. Any missed stops will have the card made up at the final stop 5 (registration booth).

Stop 1: 09:00 - 12:00
Stop 2: 09:30 - 12:30
Stop 3: 10:00 - 01:00
Stop 4: 11:00 - 02:00
Stop 5: 12:00 - 03:00

Awards for the prizes and wrap-up will be at 3:30. For a card to be counted it MUST be received by 3pm, so please manage your time accordingly while on the run.

There is still a few RV spots and a couple cottages available for the weekend. Stay at the RV park or Cottage and join us for a great weekend!
