Fluent Motions Parkour
Group and Private parkour classes for youth and adults. Birthday's, camps, and parents night out.
Fluent Motions Parkour is a movement-based gym in Spokane built around helping kids and families grow stronger, more confident, and more capable, both physically and mentally. I started Fluent Motions because I believe movement should be empowering, not intimidating. Parkour gives kids a chance to problem-solve, build resilience, and learn how to trust their bodies in a safe, structured environmen
I’ve seen a few comments lately about our prices, so I wanted to explain a little bit about why they are what they are.
I completely understand that $129–$250 a month is a lot of money for a family. I know that not everyone can afford that, and I’m not expecting everyone to.
But there’s a lot that goes into running Fluent Motions that isn’t always obvious from the outside.
I’m not just opening the doors and letting kids run around. I’m actively coaching every class, keeping class sizes small, teaching skills, helping kids work through fear and frustration, and making sure they’re progressing safely.
Then there’s rent, insurance, equipment, maintenance, utilities, cleaning, software, and all the other expenses that come with keeping a gym open.
I’ve worked hard to keep our prices as reasonable as I can while still making sure Fluent Motions can actually stay open.
At the same time, I don’t want money to be the reason a kid misses out on parkour.
If the price is a problem for your family, please talk to me. I’m willing to work with families when I can to find something that works. I’d rather have a conversation and figure something out than have a kid who really benefits from parkour not be able to participate because of money.
I still have to run a business, and I can’t make everything free, but at the end of the day, the kids and what parkour can do for them are more important to me than making as much money as possible.
I’m not trying to be the cheapest gym around. I’m trying to keep this place open and provide a place where kids can get stronger, build confidence, challenge themselves, and learn that obstacles don’t have to stop them.
That’s why I do this.

Do you teach yoga, fitness, or another type of movement class?
I’m looking for someone who wants a place to build their own thing without having to take on the cost of opening an entire gym or studio.
Starting September 1st, I’m opening up the mornings at Fluent Motions for another instructor/business to use Monday-Friday, anytime before 12pm.
You'd have your own key and independent access, so you can come in as early as you want and create your own schedule.
The space is about 2,500 sq ft total, with around 2,000+ sq ft available when our equipment is moved to the side.
The gym has:
• 2 bathrooms
• Waiting area
• Sound system
• Wi-Fi
• Heat
• Rubber flooring
• Some storage may be available depending on what you need
I’d especially love to find someone who teaches yoga, but I’m open to other things too Pilates, mobility, martial arts, dance fitness, meditation, etc.
The goal is to find one person/business who can really make the mornings their own and become part of the community here.
$1,000/month
6-month initial lease, then month-to-month.
📍 5408 N. Freya St., Spokane
If you've been wanting to start teaching classes or grow something you already do but don't want to take on the cost of your own space, this might be a good fit.
Message me here, email me at [email protected], or call/text 509-201-4225.
And if you know someone who might be interested, please send this their way!
When the fires started, we opened Fluent Motions as a temporary shelter because we wanted to help however we could.
As the days have gone on, we’ve realized we wanted to do more.
Community will always come first at Fluent Motions. This gym has never just been about parkour, it’s about giving people a place to belong, build confidence, and know they have people in their corner.
Everything we’ve built is centered around one idea: Turning Obstacles Into Opportunities.
Starting August 24th, we’re opening one free spot in every class for youth and adults who have been displaced by the fires. These spots will be available for the next two months.
Parkour is more than learning how to jump and climb. It’s a healthy outlet that helps build confidence, resilience, problem solving skills, and gives people a positive place to move, connect, and be part of a community during a difficult time.
This includes:
Little Legends (Ages 3–5)
Beginner/Intermediate Parkour (Ages 6+)
Advanced/Elite Parkour
No Limits Parkour (Adaptive youth program)
Adult Parkour (18+)
Private lessons (if you have a big family-multi students)
Schedule pinned on our page
If you or someone you know has been displaced by the fires, please reach out. We’d love to welcome you into our community.
Please share this so it reaches the families who need it.

Fluent Motions Parkour
Turning Obstacles Into Opportunities
First, I just want to say my heart is with everyone affected by the fires. I know many families have been displaced, are helping loved ones, or are simply trying to get through a really difficult time. Please take care of yourselves first.
For those who are in a position to help, I'm looking for a few people with experience in framing, woodworking, or general construction to help build a couple of new obstacles for Fluent Motions.
We're planning to build:
• A large 10 1/2' slanted climbing wall
• A 6' × 4' × 2' parkour box
I can build, and I'm more than willing to put in the work. But when it comes to something that our students will be climbing on every day, I don't want to rely solely on my own experience. I'd much rather have someone with more construction knowledge helping oversee the project so we know it's built safely and correctly. Our students safety will always come first.
If you have experience and could donate a few hours of your time, I'd be incredibly grateful. You don't have to commit to the entire project even a little guidance or a helping hand would make a huge difference.
We'll have pizza and water for everyone who comes out to help.
If you're interested, send me a message or give me a call/text at 509-201-4225.
And if you aren't able to help, I'd really appreciate it if you could share this post. It might reach someone with the skills we're looking for.
Fluent Motions wouldn't be where it is today without this community, and I'm incredibly grateful for everyone who's supported us along the way. I'm excited to keep building a place where kids can grow, challenge themselves, and feel like they belong. ❤️

Hi Fluent Motions families,
The school year is right around the corner, and we’re excited to get back into a routine with all of you!
Our new school year schedule begins Monday, August 24th, and we’re ready for another year of helping kids build confidence, learn new skills, challenge themselves, and have fun through parkour.
Parkour is about so much more than obstacles and movement. It’s about learning how to face challenges, overcome fears, build resilience, and become more confident both inside and outside the gym. Whether your child is just starting out or has been training with us for years, we have classes designed to help them continue growing.
Our school year schedule includes:
-Little Legends Parkour (ages 3–5)
-Beginner & Intermediate Parkour (ages 6+)
-Advanced & Elite Parkour (ages 6+)
-No Limits Parkour (For youth with special needs)
-Homeschool Parkour
-Adult Parkour (16+) 16 year old’s will now have the option of joining the youth classes or adult classes.
-Open Gym opportunities
With the school year approaching, now is a great time to get your child’s weekly schedule set and make sure they have a consistent activity they can look forward to each week.
Our classes have limited spots available so that we can continue giving each student the attention and coaching they deserve. If you haven’t signed up yet, we recommend reserving your spot before classes fill.
Thank you for trusting Fluent Motions with your kids. We’re excited for another year of growth, confidence, and turning obstacles into opportunities! Call 509-201-4225 to schedule a trial class today!
See you in the gym,
Taylor

Good morning, everyone.
Today, all regularly scheduled Fluent Motions classes are cancelled. The community needs a gathering spot while they make plans for what comes next.
We are opening the gym from 10:30AM–6:00 PM for families impacted by the fires.
We know many families are dealing with incredibly stressful situations right now. While parents are making important phone calls, meeting with insurance, arranging housing, or figuring out next steps, we want to give kids a place where they can feel safe, have fun, move around, and just be kids for a while.
The gym will be open for youth to come play, burn some energy, and have a positive environment surrounded by our community.
If you were scheduled for class today, you are welcome to attend as well. For anyone affected by today's cancellation, we will provide either a makeup class or a refund.
We will also have leftover pizza, snacks, and drinks available throughout the day.
Thank you for understanding why we are making this change today. Fluent Motions has always been about more than just parkour, it's about creating a place where people feel supported, encouraged, and welcome.
If your family needs us today, we're here. ❤️
