Tonight was a pretty incredible reminder of what community looks like. ❤️
After last week’s devastating fires, we reached out to our 24 Hours of Riverside family and said: if you lost your race shirts, we have replacements. If you need extras, we’ve got those too. And if you were affected by the fires, come have dinner on us.
We expected a small gathering.
Our people showed up.
Some came after losing their homes and everything inside. Others came simply to support them, share stories, give hugs and be together.
And then Uprise Brewing Co., where we gathered and who also supports us during race season, surprised us with TEN $100 gift cards to give to those affected by the fires. Just an incredibly generous act of kindness that left us a little speechless.
Our friend Clint retired as a fire captain just a month ago and then lost his own home in last week’s fire. Tonight he talked about how humbled he has been by the incredible outpouring of love and support.
And looking around that room tonight, that’s exactly what it felt like.
A tidal wave of love.
We’ve always said our mountain bike community is a family, and tonight proved it once again. But it also reminded us that Spokane is simply a top-tier community. When tragedy strikes here, people show up. We take care of each other. We help each other find our footing again.
We started tonight thinking we’d replace some shirts and buy some dinners.
Instead, we watched a community wrap its arms around its own.
This is our mountain bike family.
This is Spokane.
And this is how we heal. ❤️

To our 24 Hours of Riverside family… ❤️
Our hearts are with every racer, volunteer, sponsor, spectator, and family member affected by the fires. We’ve been thinking about all of you and hoping for safe evacuations, protected homes, and reunited families.
We’ve learned that some members of our race family have tragically lost their homes, and our hearts break alongside yours. This is bigger than a race. This is our community.
If you’ve been affected, please let us know how you’re doing. If you need help, resources, or even just someone to help connect you with the right people, please reach out. And if you know someone who could use support, let us know that too.
Please check in below if you’re able. Even a simple “We’re safe” means a great deal right now.
The Riverside family has always been about showing up for one another, and that’s exactly what we’ll continue to do.
We’re holding each of you close and sending love, strength, and prayers to everyone impacted. ❤️

🚨 CAPE-ER T-SHIRT UPDATE 🚨
Turns out our late-night race prep math was…not exactly superhero-level. 😵💫
We did not order enough shirts.
Yep. We flubbed up. 🫠
If you were one of the unlucky riders who didn’t get a shirt at packet pickup, please check your inbox 📬 An email has been sent with instructions on next steps.
A couple quick things:
• Check your spam/junk folder
• Give it a few minutes if it hasn’t arrived yet
• Read the instructions carefully before responding
Thank you all for your patience while we sort this out. The stoke this year has been unreal and we appreciate everyone rolling with us. 🦸♂️💥

Cape-er HQ is locked in and READY. 🦸🚵
The tents are up.
The course is salivating.
The dirt is about to get absolutely punished.
Tomorrow morning the gates open for Year 5 of the 24 Hours of Riverside and this little corner of Riverside State Park turns into a nonstop blur of bikes, capes, campfires, cowbells, caffeine, and gloriously delirious decisions.
We’re ready.
The real question is…
ARE. YOU. READY. 🔥
Let’s gooooooo!!!!! 🔥🔥🔥😎

Not all heroes wear capes...
Some just quietly help keep the wheels turning. 🚵🏻♀️⚡️
Huge shoutout to EXIT Real Estate Professionals and Kali Butler for sponsoring Year 5 of the 24 Hours of Riverside: The Cape-er!
Kali has built a reputation for showing up big for her people, her community, and apparently... very questionable endurance-based mountain bike races 😎
From the first lap to the last delirious push at high noon, support like this is what helps make the magic happen out at Riverside. We're beyond grateful for the stoke, the support, and the superhero-level community
spirit. 💥
Now someone get this woman a cape just for good measure🦸♂️ Let’s goooooo!!! 🔥🔥🔥
